Nathan Meade, SOC is a Camera Operator and Steadicam Operator with a passion for imagery and a fascination with light. He is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE - Local 600) and the Society of Camera Operators (SOC).
Nathan grew up in Arizona where his passion for imagery began with an Olympus OM-1 that he received from his grandma. He found film's texture and depth magical. It was an internship in high school at a local TV studio where he discovered that he belonged behind the camera. He was then hired by the studio and quickly worked his way to lead camera operator. After shooting and editing full-time for over a decade, he began working exclusively as a freelancer for the film and TV industry in 2012. Since then Nathan has had the opportunity to work on a variety of features, scripted and unscripted TV shows, commercials, documentaries, short films, and music videos.
When he's not working, you may find him with his family or wandering the trails of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
