Two young Australian actors are set to battle it out at the 37th Annual Young Artist Awards, or 'kiddie Oscars', after both were nomainted for Best Performance in a Feature Film..

Perth actress, Chanel Marriott, 20, has been nominated for Best Performance in a Feature Film for her portrayal of Alison in the controversial pro-life drama, Alison's Choice.

While fellow West Australian Olivia DeJonge has also recieved a nomination for her performance in M. Night Shyamalan's The Visit. .

The Young Artist Awards are regarded as young Hollywood's answer to the Academy Awards, recognising children for their work within the entertainment industry..

Previous winners include Scarlett Johansson, Emma Watson, Elijah Wood, Chloe Grace Moretz, Dakota Fanning, Haley Joel Osment, Miley Cyrus, Jaden Smith, Patrick Dempsey, and Christian Bale to name a small few.
