Exclusive: All3Media is expanding its unscripted business in the U.S.

The British superindie, which is now owned by RedBird Imi after its $1.45B takeover last year, is bringing in a swathe of new unscripted labels under its Traitors producer Studio Lambert.

The first is MindMeld Entertainment, which was founded by Jill Goslicky and Vivian Choi, who have exec produced series including Bravo’s hit Below Deck franchise.

MindMeld’s Goslicky and Choi will report to Studio Lambert’s LA-based President Jack Burgess, who works closely with Chief Creative Officer Tim Harcourt and CEO Stephen Lambert.

Goslicky has exec produced series including Below Deck: Sailing Yacht, Below Deck: Mediterranean and Below Deck: Down Under as well as Netflix’s Love Is Blind and Paramount’s Bar Rescue. Choi also exec produced Below Deck: Sailing Yacht and worked on Below Deck: Mediterranean as well as the original Below Deck. Other credits include Amazon’s Sweethearts.

Peacock’s Emmy Award-winning competition reality series The Traitors will return for a fourth season with an all-new lineup of pop-culture powerhouses, hosted once again by the devastatingly witty Emmy Award winner Alan Cumming who also serves as executive producer.

Exclusive: The Traitors producer Studio Lambert has promoted Jack Burgess to President in the U.S.

Burgess relocated to LA in 2018 as EVP and oversees Studio Lambert’s U.S. team with oversight of development and production on all U.S. output including Netflix’s The Circle, Prime Video’s Buy It Now and USA Network’s The Anonymous. His work on The Traitors U.S. won him an Emmy last year for Outstanding Reality Competition Program.

Before moving to the States, Burgess ran the Studio Lambert unscripted development department in London, where he helped create the likes of Naked Attraction and The Circle. Past employers include NBCUniversal International Studios and Fever Media.

Burgess will continue to report to Studio Lambert Chief Creative Officer Tim Harcourt and founder Stephen Lambert.

The Season 3 launch, which saw the first three episodes drop on Peacock on Jan. 9, boosted the show to reach 499 minutes watched during the week of Jan. 6, according to preliminary data from Nielsen. With the Season 3 viewing boost, “The Traitors” ranked as the week’s most-watched unscripted series.

Viewership for Season 3 was up 67% during the week of launch when compared to last season’s launch, which debuted on Jan. 12, 2024. The Season 3 launch was also buzzy on social media, with social volume up 15% from last season’s premiere.

To celebrate the new year, Peacock is gifting faithful fans of The Traitors with the opening seven minutes of Season 3’s first episode. The Traitors Season 3 opening is now available to stream exclusively on Peacock.

The streaming service has ordered two new nonscripted series; it has ordered a U.S. version of British format Buy It Now hosted by Curb Your Enthusiasm star Jb Smoove and Nick Cannon is hosting holiday event Wish List Games.

Elsewhere, it has added names to Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, hosted by Travis Kelce.

This comes after the streamer ordered Pop Culture Jeopardy!, a spinoff of the iconic gameshow.

Amazon has largely struggled in the unscripted world and has had few breakouts so is evidently trying to bolster its slate.

Peacock has announced the cast for Season 2 of the reality competition series “The Traitors.” Like Season 1, the show features reality stars from a variety of other series like “The Bachelor” and “The Real Housewives.” Unlike Season 1, the second season cast will be all reality stars, without any non-celebrities in the competition.

Familiar facing joining Season 2 include Maksim Chmerkovskiy of “Dancing With the Stars,” Phaedra Parks of “Married to Medicine” and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” two-time “Survivor” winner Sandra Diaz-Twine, Tamra Judge of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and Bachelor Nation alum Peter Weber.

Unfolding in a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands, host Alan Cumming guides the contestants through a series of challenges with the aim of winning $250,000. However, the contestants deemed “the Traitors” will come up with a plan to steal the prize from the contestants deemed “the Faithful.”

Peacock is forging ahead with more of its breakout unscripted series The Traitors.

The streamer has picked up a second season of the competition series, hosted by Alan Cumming. While per usual with streaming services, Peacock doesn’t share ratings data for its shows, The Traitors has scored positive critical reviews and strong word-of-mouth since its full season debuted Jan. 12.

Peacock will also air a reunion special from the season, hosted by Andy Cohen, on Feb. 28.

Peacock dropped all 10 episodes of the first season on January 12 of the celeb-feud competition that brought in reality stars and civilians vying for a grand prize of up to 250,000.

The renewal comes just on the heels of the show’s successful premiere. The series follows twenty contestants going head to head in a series of challenges to ultimately win a cash prize. Along the way, they must also figure out which of the three contestants among the group are “the traitors” with a plan to steal the prize from the other contestants coined “the faithful.” The streamer is touting the unscripted competition as its No. 1 original reality series.

The Circle producer Studio Lambert has made a series of promotions in its development teams on both sides of the Atlantic. Niall O’Driscoll is relocating from London, where he was Head of Development, Unscripted, to become Senior VP of Development and Current in LA, with his deputy Harry Knott (aka Harry Garne) taking his previous role in the UK. NBC has been unveiled as the network behind the U.S. version of John de Mol’s Million Dollar Island (working title), the high-stakes social experiment that will be produced by Stephen Lambert’s Circle and Gogglebox producer Studio Lambert.

De Mol’s Talpa is producing the Dutch version, revealed exclusively by Deadline in January, which premieres Sunday on SBS6, with Amazon Prime Video taking day-and-date SVoD second window in The Netherlands.

NBCUniversal and the BBC have ordered U.S. and U.K. versions respectively of Studio Lambert’s hit Dutch psychological adventure format “The Traitors.”

Contestants in the game move into a castle and work as a team to complete a series of challenging missions to earn money for the prize pot. But three of the contestants are secretly traitors, who will attempt to deceive and manipulate their way to the prize by eliminating loyal contestants.

The Dutch version was created by Marc Pos, developed by All3Media’s Idtv & Rtl Creative Unit and produced by Idtv. It launched in March this year on Netherlands commercial broadcaster RTL4 and was a ratings hit, attracting a 43% share of 25-54 year olds and 50% share of 16-24 year olds. A second series was ordered and has also been picked up by Vtm in Belgium.

E! has ordered a four-part series that brings some of the most celebrated TV casts back together on a roadtrip.

The casts of All My Children, Scrubs, A Different World and Queer Eye For The Straight Guy are getting back together for Reunion Road Trip to reminisce and share surprising revelations about their shows. The series launches on June 10.

It is the latest U.S. order for Studio Lambert, the All3Media-backed producer behind series such as Netflix’s The Circle and CBS’ Undercover Boss.

The company’s U.S. division is led by EVP, Development and Current Jack Burgess.

Burgess and Studio Lambert have had a busy year, despite the pandemic. Right at the start of the pandemic, they scored an order for Celebrity Watch Party from Fox. The show, which is based on the company’s hit UK format Gogglebox, premiered on May 7 and was turned around in 21 days.

British entertainment format Gogglebox is getting a second chance in the U.S. after Fox ordered a celebrity adaptation. The broadcaster is launching 10-part series Celebrity Watch Party on May 7 at 8 Pm with stars including Rob Lowe, Meghan Trainor and Raven-Symoné.

The Studio Lambert-produced show, which features people being recorded watching television, has been a long-running hit in the UK, where it airs on Channel 4. It has been particularly Covid-19 proof as the producers have been able to keep filming going through the pandemic with remote shoots. C4 has produced a number of celebrity versions in the UK, largely for charity, featuring the likes of Noel Gallagher, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.

Fox announced Thursday that it has greenlit a new unscripted series titled “Celebrity Watch Party.”

Debuting May 7 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt, the hour-long show will feature celebrities and their families filming themselves in their own homes and reacting to the week’s most interesting television shows and events. Guests in the premiere episode will include Rob Lowe, Meghan Trainor, Joe Buck, Raven-Symoné, Master P and Romeo, JoJo Siwa, Steve Wozniak, Curtis Stone, and Robert and Kym Herjavec.

Undercover Boss producer Studio Lambert has struck a development deal with The Masked Singer showrunner Izzie Pick Ibarra.

Pick Ibarra will develop and produce new shows with the All3Media-backed production company, which is currently making a U.S. version and international adaptations of its hit British reality series The Circle for Netflix.

This comes after the second season of Fox’s undercover talent contest launched in September.

ABC has handed a series order to The Hustler, a new mystery-based game showhosted by Craig Ferguson. The series from All3Media-backed Studio Lambert is set to begin production this fall, with an airdate to be announced later.

Based on an original format by British TV and radio host Richard Bacon, each episode follows five contestants as they collaborate to answer a series of trivia questions, with the goal of building a collective prize pot that increases with each correct answer. The catch? One of the five contestants, the Hustler, already knows the answers but must keep their identity a secret in order to have a shot at winning the grand prize. Throughout each episode, two contestants are eliminated anonymously by the Hustler, leaving three remaining contestants – the Hustler and two others – who must collectively decide who they think the Hustler is.
