‘The Anonymous’ Winner Revealed: Who Took Home the $100,000 Prize?
Image
“The Anonymous” has crowned its first-ever winner.

After 15 players went head-to-head while living side-by-side, the USA Network competition named its winner as Nina Twine, who takes home the grand prize of $100,000.

Twine is the daughter of “Survivor” legend Sandra Diaz-Twine, who recently appeared on “The Traitors” Season 2 on Peacock. Following in her mom’s footsteps, Twine first appeared on “Australian Survivor: Blood v. Water,” when she made the notorious move of voting out her own mother, and later returned to the Down Under iteration of the survival show as a hero in “Heroes v. Villains.”

Nina kept her mom’s identity under wraps as she entered “The Anonymous,” though her fellow contestants made it impossible for her to truly deny the connection, even if she tried.

Twine was among several contestants of “The Anonymous” already in the public eye prior to their casting. Her castmates included Xavier E. Prather, who...

Peacock is making a big commitment to The Traitors.

The NBCUniversal-owned streamer has ordered two more seasons of the show, which will take The Traitors through its fifth installment. The pickup comes after season two of the series earned four Emmy nominations — including nods for best reality competition program and outstanding host for a reality show in Alan Cumming — and several months before season three‘s planned premiere in early 2025.

The Traitors earned a good deal of buzz for its format — in which several players are “traitors” who work to eliminate other contestants from the game — and broke out in its second season, becoming the most watched unscripted streaming show in the U.S. for its premiere week in January. It spent five weeks in Nielsen’s ranking of the top 10 original streaming shows.

‘The Traitors’ Set to Break Into Nielsen Streaming Rankings
Image
The Traitors is making the jump from word-of-mouth hit to quantified success.

The Peacock unscripted series is set to make its first appearance on Nielsen’s streaming charts for the week of Jan. 15-21. The show had about 384 million minutes of viewing for that week, which encompasses the first four episodes of season two (three debuted on Jan. 12 and the fourth on Jan. 18) as well as any viewing for the first season, as Nielsen counts all episodes of a series in its streaming totals.

Peacock says season two of The Traitors had the biggest debut for any original reality series on the streamer, growing by 75 percent over its first season. The show will be the first unscripted offering from the NBCUniversal platform to hit the Nielsen rankings (complete charts for Jan. 15-21 will be available in mid-February). It’s likely to be joined by Seth MacFarlane’s Ted prequel series,...

ABC has handed a series order to The Hustler, a new mystery-based game showhosted by Craig Ferguson. The series from All3Media-backed Studio Lambert is set to begin production this fall, with an airdate to be announced later.

Based on an original format by British TV and radio host Richard Bacon, each episode follows five contestants as they collaborate to answer a series of trivia questions, with the goal of building a collective prize pot that increases with each correct answer. The catch? One of the five contestants, the Hustler, already knows the answers but must keep their identity a secret in order to have a shot at winning the grand prize. Throughout each episode, two contestants are eliminated anonymously by the Hustler, leaving three remaining contestants – the Hustler and two others – who must collectively decide who they think the Hustler is. If they are right, they share the prize pot.
