Rooster teeth is heading across the pond with a brand new London headquarters, as the Austin-headquartered digital media empire looks to sign new British talent and launch local ventures for its U.K. and European fans.
Rooster Teeth has tapped Eric Cherry to serve as head of the London offices, where he will be tasked with expanding the Rooster Teeth brand internationally, including programming, licensing, consumer products, live events, and the company’s premium service, First, Variety reports. For the past six years, Cherry has served as CEO of Hanabee Entertainment -- the official licensor and distributor of RoosterTeeth merch in Australia and New Zealand.

Rooster Teeth, the company behind hit digital sci-fi comedy “Red vs. Blue” and anime-style series “Rwby,” is opening up shop in London as it builds its international presence. The Fullscreen-owned company is headquartered in Austin, Texas, but wants to build closer links with fans in the U.K. and Europe, and is looking to find new talent in Britain.
Eric Cherry will run the London outpost and build a team based in the English capital. His remit extends to building a presence in the U.K. and more broadly in international markets, across programming, licensing, consumer products, and live events.
