Lars Rasmussen(IV)
Born 1968 in Voldtofte, Denmark. He is son of a driving teacher, Poul Erik
Rasmussen, and housewife, Tove Rasmussen.
After high school and higher business school he joined the Royal Danish Army from 1989 to 1992. He left the active army as a first lieutenant of the royal danish artillery. He is now a army officer of the reserve.
He did his first film work in ex-Jugoslavia, when he was filmed to "Sarajevo Diary" by Phil Alden Robinson. He was then working for the "Danish Refugee Counsil" under UNHCR in Metcovic, Croatia, driving in supplies to the besieged cities of Bosnia. He did this job from October 1992 to April 1994. The last two years as a convoy leader.
In 1994 he joined the danish police. After 5 years of police work in Copenhagen, he is now in the Middelfart Police in Westfunen. It was also here he participated in his second film "Paradise", where he together with colleague, Steffen Daugaard, acted as semi-documentary narcotic cops.
Lars now lives in Nellemose together with his wife, Phatsaporn Rasmussen.
