Kavya Thapar, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Middle-Class Love’, shared her experience of working in the web series ‘Cat’ along with Randeep Hooda. She also threw light on braving a ligament tear to play a “crazy” character in it

She said: “It was really enlightening to work alongside an accomplished actor Randeep Hooda and I actually learned a lot from him. From his discipline regarding shoots and his lifestyle to how he approached a character, I got quite a lot of pointers from him and I’m sure it’ll help me in the future. I’m also thankful to the director and all those who have made this possible.”

During the shoot, Kavya suffered from a ligament tear and still managed to perform a running scene which had her run from the first floor through the garden and pool area all the way to the parking lot.

Mumbai, Nov 24 (Ians) Actor Randeep Hooda’s new film ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’, which stars Ileana D’cruz as the female lead, is set to have its premiere screening at the 53rd edition of the ongoing International Film Festival of India (Iffi) in Goa, on November 25.

The film has been helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, who has also worked with Randeep on the Netflix series ‘Cat’. Written by Balwinder himself in association with Rupinder Chahal, Anil Rodhan and Kunal Mandekar, ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’ is a social comedy set against the backdrop of Haryana and casts a light on India’s obsession with fair skin.

Speaking about the gala premiere at Iffi 2022, Randeep said, “I am pleased to have ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’ screened at Iffi and it is for the first time audiences will get to experience this special film. It deals with an important subject but in a very light-hearted way.

The India leg of Netflix’s annual fan event Tudum on Saturday showcased several big ticket films and shows including Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Khufiya,” starring Tabu, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.’s “Guns & Gulaabs,” with Dulquer Salmaan, and Hansal Mehta’s “Scoop.” Tudum India was hosted by comedian Zakir Khan and actor Prajakta Koli.

“Class,” set in an expensive Delhi school, is an adaptation of hit Spanish series “Elite.” It stars Gurfateh Pirzada, Chintan Rachh, Naina Bhan, Chayan Chopra, Ciyawal, Anjali Sivarman, Madhyama Segal, Piyush Khati, Ayesha Kanga, Chandan Singh, Moses Koul and Zeyn Shaw.

Disney Plus, Rai Take Hit Ballet Series ‘Find Me in Paris’ – Global Bulletin

Kids’ content distributor Federation Kids and Family and Zdf Enterprises have sold all three seasons of hit series “Find Me in Paris” to streamer Disney Plus as part of a worldwide multi-territory deal, while Italian state broadcaster Rai also picked up season 3 following on from its successful run of the first two seasons.

Broadcast in over 80 territories, “Find Me in Paris” (78 x 26’) follows the story of Lena Grisky, a time-travelling ballet dancer from 1905 Russia trapped in modern day Paris, and the many dilemmas she faces finding her place between two worlds. The series has also been a social media hit across all platforms, with the soundtracks registering 18 million streams across all music streaming platforms for 2020/2021 and its YouTube channel recording 46.1 million views to date.

'Puaada' theatrical release pushed again until further notice

Mumbai, March 23 (Ians) The theatrical release of the Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa-starrer Punjabi rom-com "Puaada" has been postponed again. The makers issued a statement on Tuesday saying the release date has been pushed until further notice.

The statement says: "Due to the rising cases of Covid-19 and new guidelines for cinemas with weekend and night closures of theatres, we have decided to postpone our movie Puaada until further notice."

"We have received an overwhelming positive and encouraging response for our trailer, songs and posters and feel our movie is best suited for a theatrical experience. So we have decided to bring Puaada to audiences theatrically when the environment is more conducive for the theatre experience."

"Thanks for all your love and support, see you with Puaada in cinemas very soon, until then stay safe and healthy."

Chandigarh, March 12 (Ians) The Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa-starrer Punjabi film Puaada is all set to hit the theatres on April 2, on the occasion of Good Friday. The will be the first Punjabi film to release in cinemas in over a year.

Puaada was slated to release last year during summer but could not make it due to the pandemic.

"The film is the first one to come to theatres after the pandemic. We were to release last year but couldn't due to the situation, but now we are very excited to see the positive footfalls in theatres as people have been sitting at home for a while. When it comes to watching movies in cinemas, you cannot go wrong with a comedy, which is why we decided to go for a theatrical release for our film and hope audiences get their fill of good quality big screen entertainment!
