Jen Evans is an actress, producer and award-winning screenwriter. Born on October 26, 1987, in Brockville, Ontario, Canada, Evans began her entertainment career when she became a professional wrestler at age 16.
As a professional wrestler, Evans performed in 15 countries over the course of 11 years. Among other accomplishments, she was a 2x SHIMMER Tag Team Champion with her partner Nicole Matthews as the Canadian NINJAs, 2x and first-ever ACW American Joshi Champion, NHPW Global Shield Tournament Winner, and one of the first women to hold a world championship when she captured the ACW Heavyweight Title. In addition to performing, Evans is also an accomplished writer and producer in professional wrestling, most notably for SHIMMER Women Athletes.
Evans now works as an actress and comedy writer in New York City. Her original pilot script, "Funland", was named the World Series Champion in the 2017 World Series of Screenwriting.
