After premiering on Prime Video back in January, Harlem season 3 has finally reached its conclusion. The last two episodes of the third installment are now streaming on Prime Video, and fans are eager to see how the six-episode season wraps up.
However, some fans were eagerly counting down the minutes for the final episodes to drop, staying up late and repeatedly refreshing Prime Video. The moment they were released, they wasted no time watching both episodes back-to-back. Now that they've finished, the big question on their minds is whether Harlem will return for a fourth season with a new batch of episodes.
Sadly, there’s disappointing news for fans. Harlem season 4 will not be happening as the beloved comedy series was announced last month to be ending with its third season. On Jan. 8, the official trailer for Harlem season 3 was released. At this time, it was also confirmed that this...

Get ready because Harlem season 3 is almost here! It's a bittersweet moment because we're excited for a new season. But that also means we're moving one step closer to the very last episode of the comedy-drama because this is the final season. Can you believe it?
Harlem season 3 premieres Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025 on Prime Video. It's not known yet how many episodes there are this time around. And it's hard to predict because season 2 was 8 episodes while the first installment was 10.
Hopefully it's on the longer side so we have a longer time to say goodbye. The exact release schedule hasn't been shared by the streamer yet either. Though TVLine has confirmed that it's not a binge drop and episodes will be streaming weekly. It may follow the two episodes a week format that season 2 did.

The dramedy's second season, which premiered on Feb. 3, picks right back up where the season one finale left off with Camille and Ian's (Tyler Lepley) epic reunion as a couple. This season, the show explores more happenings in the girls' careers, love lives, and everything else in between. But viewers are already asking for another season. And quiet as it's kept, so is the cast.

When viewers tune in to the second season of Harlem, the comedy about four ambitious best friends (played by Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Jerrie Johnson and Shoniqua Shandai) navigating life in New York, they’ll find something a little deeper: frank discussions about mental health. Ahead of Harlem‘s Scad TVfest panel, showrunner Tracy Oliver discusses how the events of the past two years affected the writers room and found their way into the show — and teases what she can about the upcoming Girls Trip sequel.

When Harlem first aired in December 2021, Camille — the show’s protagonist, played by Meagan Good — reckoned with the changes to the once predominantly Black neighborhood. “The number of actual dateable men is bleak,” she lectured both to her television audience and a room of fictional students at Columbia University. Her opening presentation to the class during the show’s pilot featured the Mosuo women of China, who rule their community and have full liberty to go in and out of marriages as they please. “We are not Mosuo,” Camille told the class.

The case for Sherri Shepherd as TV mom of the year is here. With her upcoming appearance in Season 2 of “Harlem,” she adds a new onscreen daughter under her wing — and they’ve got a matching look that screams family ties.
As a fan of Tracy Oliver’s series on Amazon Prime, the talk show host was more than excited to do a guest spot, but what sealed the deal was her character. Shepherd, already known for her enthusiastic persona, portrays Angie’s (Shoniqua Shandai) equally loud, proud and take-charge mother, Sonia, in Episode 3 titled, “An Assist from the Sidelines.”
In an exclusive clip, Shepherd is seen sharing a touching heart-to-heart moment with Shandai as she reminds her to pick herself up when life knocks her down.
Perhaps Shepherd embodied the role all too well as she says the mother-daughter feeling between Shandai and herself took on a life offscreen.

For so long it seems like TV shows have starved Black women and women of color of sisterhood representation, but Prime Video's "Harlem" is changing that. The hit comedy series, created by Tracy Oliver, first premiered on Dec. 3, 2021, and returned for its highly anticipated second season on Feb. 3, 2023. The premise of the show revolves around the lives of four women in Harlem - Camille (Meagan Good), Quinn (Grace Byers), Angie (Shoniqua Shandai), and Tye (Jerrie Johnson) - as they juggle their tumultuous love lives, friendship, and careers.
The bond that the foursome share onscreen closely resembles other sister circles we've grown attached to, from shows like "Girlfriends," "Insecure," and "Living Single," to name a few. But Byers still wants viewers to know "Harlem" brings something else to the table by exploring familiar stories through new characters, some of which are rarely represented on the small screen.

Who's ready for a vacation? On Jan. 23, "Girls Trip" writer-producer-director Tracy Oliver confirmed "Girls Trip 2" is happening in a new interview with Variety. The news comes a year after producer Will Packer confirmed to "Good Morning America" that the sequel was in its early stages.
In her interview, Oliver teased she had a "definitive 'Girls Trip 2' update: that it's officially happening. I can say that." She went on to tease that although Packer "might kill me, we're looking to set it in Ghana."
The multihyphenate writer was at Sundance to promote season two of her Starz series "Harlem," and one of the stars of the show made a suggestion for what might bring the women to West Africa. Shoniqua Shandai shouted, "Afrochella!" Which would be perfect, since the first "Girls Trip" was about the pals going to the Essence Festival in New Orleans.

I can say that.” She also provided a plot update, and while the film’s producer Will Packer “might kill me, we’re looking to set it in Ghana.”
One of Oliver’s “Harlem” stars, actor Shoniqua Shandai, screamed “Afrochella!” after Oliver dropped the news. She refers to the annual Afrochella festival, Ghana’s premiere cultural and music event whose name borrows from the American flower crown convention Coachella.
