This just means we're one step closer to uncovering what happens next after that jaw-dropping season 2 finale.

The official School Spirits Instagram page was the first to announce the start of filming. A short video was shared on the page on July 21, showcasing rapid snapshots of the cast, with bold text appearing in the center that reads, "Season 3 now in production." School Spirits stars Sarah Yarkin and Kristian Ventura, who play Rhonda and Simon in the series, were quick to jump in the comment section. Their reaction to the video only got fans even more excited and eager for what’s coming next.

Paramount+’s hit supernatural drama School Spirits has added a '90s horror icon for its season 3 return. “School Spirits” has tapped Jennifer Tilly, Ari Dalbert and Erika Swayze as guest stars for its upcoming third season.

Tilly, Dalbert and Swayze will appear on the the Paramount+ series for the first time when it returns for Season 3, the streamer announced Monday. Tilly will play school superintendent Dr. Deborah Hunter-Price while Dalbert plays Kyle and Swayze plays Livia.

Season 3, which officially began production in Vancouver on Monday, also upped Ci Hang Ma and Miles Elliot to series regulars.

It took two months from the season 1 finale's release for the show to be renewed for a second season, so we were expecting a similar wait this time around. However, the fast renewal for season 3 means we’ll soon be back in the world of School Spirits, ready to see what’s next for Maddie and her living and ghostly friends.

After that jaw-dropping season 2 finale, which we're still trying to process, we’re eager to see how the story will continue to unfold in the third installment. While Maddie's journey ended on a somewhat positive note, we still have a lot of unanswered questions about her friends and the mysterious happenings at Split River High.

Paramount+’s School Spirits season two episode seven, the season’s penultimate, opens just minutes after Simon left Janet alone on the dock. Simon, Nicole, and Xavier desperately search for Janet, while Mr. Martin (in Mr. Anderson’s body) and Janet are in a rowboat on the lake.

Mr. Martin claims they both have second chances now, but Janet isn’t convinced. She wants to give Maddie back her body. Frustrated, Mr. Martin insists they need to stick together; they’ve been a team for 66 years. Maybe stealing bodies and getting new lives gives them a chance to make a difference.

There’s a lot going on as Paramount+’s School Spirits season two episode six kicks off. Maddie (Peyton List) is freaking out because it’s taking too long for her living BFFs to return from dinner with Janet. Mr. Anderson’s handling Mr. Martin taking over his body by hitting golf balls in the library. Apparently, he’s totally fine with it. And this also just happens to be the night of Wally’s class of 1984 reunion.

(Reminder – this is a recap, so there are spoilers ahead!)

Episode five ended with Janet being kidnapped by a masked figure while dumping the trash. We catch up with her in the trunk of a car, wrists bound, and mouth taped shut. Meanwhile, when morning arrives, Sandra stops by Mr. Anderson’s, frantic that Maddie’s missing again.

School Spirits will conclude its second season on Paramount+ in March, leaving just a few episodes left to go as the story continues to build up towards the finale. While the wait for episode 206 will be just a little longer, Cbr can exclusively unveil a sneak peek clip.

In the clip, Maddie (Peyton List) and the others begin to grow weary over the absence of Janet Hamilton (Jess Gabor). The tension is broken when visitors in "murder vans" arrive at the school, but this doesn't bring the answers that the group is expecting. Fans will have to check out the episode in full to see what happens when it starts streaming on Paramount+ on Feb. 20. For now, the new clip can be viewed below.

Paramount+’s School Spirits season two episode three ended with Janet/Maddie (Peyton List) showing up outside Maddie’s home and getting pulled into a big hug by her mom, Sandra. Episode four begins minutes later with Sandra thrilled to have her daughter back. Janet is standoffish and wants a bath to avoid dealing with Maddie’s stressed-out mom.

As she’s soaking, Janet has flashbacks of everything that’s happened since she possessed Maddie’s body. Toweling off, she discovers blood from a cut on the back of her head. She barely reacts when Sandra says she was going to call Simon, but decided Maddie would want to do that herself. When Sandra hands over her phone, Janet doesn’t take it. Instead, Janet claims she’s not ready to let people know she’s back.

School Spirits Season 2 adds another teen ghost in Split River High School in the form of Yuri, and Episode 2 sheds more light on his death.

The second season of Paramount+'s mystery thriller continues the story of Maddie Nears as she continues to search for answers to why Janet Hamilton snatched her body and pushed her spirit out of it. 

With the help of the other teen ghosts trapped in the school, Maddie leads the search for another spirit who might hold the answer about Janet: Yuri (played by Miles Elliot).

Paramount+ today revealed the official trailer and premiere date for season two of its hit original drama series School Spirits. Produced by Awesomeness TV, the new season will debut on Thursday, January 30, with three episodes in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

The streaming platform announced this morning that School Spirits Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, January 30, with a three-episode drop.

While we’re excited to get some much-needed resolution to the many mysteries School Spirits Season 1 threw our way, the fact that it premieres in just over a week is concerning.

Promotion can make or break any project, so announcing a premiere date this close to the debut date doesn’t instill hope that many people will find it.

School Spirits Season 1 had a devoted audience, but it’s hard to tell whether they’ll get the message in time that new episodes are available to devour.

Genre shows are disappearing before our very eyes, and the last thing we need is for School Spirits to face a similar fate.

Production has kicked off on School Spirits season 2. The entire main cast is set to return, with Josh Zuckerman being promoted to series regular. Cihang Ma, Jess Gabor, Miles Elliot, and Zack Calderon will also be joining the cast.

School Spirits season 2 has received a major filming and cast update. Class is almost back in session for School Spirits. Production is officially underway on the Paramount+ drama’s second season, and we’ve got the scoop on what you can expect when it returns this fall.

Let’s start with which characters we can expect back: everybody! All current series regulars from Season 1 — Peyton List as Maddie, Kristian Ventura as Simon, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole, Sarah Yarkin as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese as Charley, Rainbow Wedell as Claire and Milo Manheim as Wally — will return, along with Josh Zuckerman (aka Mr. Martin), who has also been promoted to series regular.

Paul Rudd, he’ll have you know, is not a method actor. But that didn’t stop the “Living With Yourself” star from exhibiting a few character-specific traits — when the cameras weren’t rolling — during production on the new Netflix series.

The show centers around a burnt-out, dissatisfied suburbanite named Miles Elliot (Rudd) who attempts to get his mojo back via a strip mall massage parlor. Instead, Miles finds himself with a significantly unhappy ending, waking in a shallow grave and discovering he’s been replaced by, well, himself.

For a lot of people, Netflix’s “Living With Yourself” has turned the perfect dream into the perfect live-action reality: Two Paul Rudds, no waiting. The series — about a sad sack named Miles Elliot (Rudd), who undergoes a mysterious spa treatment and comes out the other side with a superior version of himself (Rudd) — has brought the A-list actor to the small screen once more in a starring role, this time with double the Rudd, double the fun.

Only, for both Miles and New Miles, this isn’t fun or a dream: It’s an absolute nightmare, one that culminates in a fight scene between Rudd’s Miles and Rudd’s New Miles in the season finale.

Netflix’s Living With Yourself sees Paul Rudd playing a dual role in as, well, himself.

The premise is that Miles Elliot (Rudd) is a depressed man who, desperate to improve his life and find happiness, undergoes a treatment at a spa that promises him a better life. Only he discovers that he has been replaced by a clone of himself. The originals are usually killed and buried, but due to some technical difficulties and malfunctioning equipment, the real Miles survives and digs himself out a grave, only to discover this weird predicament.

The first season, which consisted of just eight half-hour episodes, has been met with pretty good reviews and ended with a twist cliffhanger. So while Netflix hasn’t officially given it the green light for a season 2, it’s likely we’ll see one.

Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) plot synopsis is touted by Sony Pictures as featuring “ untold story of Peter Parker’s early years.” It would have to be since the public has already and recently (in movie terms) seen an Spider-Man origin story.
