    Set a Guinness World Record in 1993 by making 2,750 consecutive free throws over 12 hours. He played basketball for the University of North Dakota and Long Beach City College, where he was Junior College Player of the Year, and was offered a contract by the Minneapolis Lakers, but declined the offer in order to attend podiatry school. He visited an athletic club six days a week, and according to his own records sank 500 or more consecutive free throws on 473 separate occasions.
