Arno Krimmer - an Austrian producer and serial entrepreneur - owns and manages Ascending Global Group having offices in Munich, Vienna and Dubai. Ascending Global Group (AGG) produces feature films, TV and web series, animation, documentaries as well as computer & video games.
Hollywood - Krimmer is one of the Producers of international feature film Hand of Dante directed/written by Academy Award-nominee/Cannes-winner Julian Schnabel. The film is starring Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Oscar Isaac, Gerard Butler, Al Pacino, John Malkovich, Martin Scorsese. Team of producers include Martin Scorsese, Drake and Jon Kilik who earlier produced the Hunger Games-films, the films of Julian Schnabel and the films of Spike Lee.
Games - AGG's game Encodya (2021) was published in January 2021 on STEAM for PC and Mac and later also released for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 & 5, Xbox and iPhone. It received excellent reviews and was described as "Blade Runner meets Studio Ghibli" and as one of the year's best games in its genre.
Bollywood - AGG's Hindi-language feature film Once Again (2018) was realized together with European channels / funding institutions MDM & ARTE and was sold to Netflix International in 2018. Once Again was for many weeks one of the most trending films on Netflix India. The film had its TV premiere when it was aired on pan-European channel ARTE.
Animation - Krimmer worked for several years as scriptwriter for various Animated TV series - eg for the popular Lilly the Witch (2004)-series based on the children books of KNISTER which have sold more than 25 million copies worldwide.
Faculty - In 2008 Krimmer became a Professor at the prestigious Film & TV Institute of India in Pune. There he ran the Dept of Screenplay Writing working under the guidance of Head of Dept Anjum Rajabali who wrote Raajneti starring Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Toofan starring Farhan Akthar and The Legend of Bhagat Singh starring Ajay Devgn. Krimmer welcomed many great scriptwriters in his class, eg Jaideep Sahni, Head of Story at Yash Raj who wrote Chak De! India starring Sharukh Khan & Amole Gupte who wrote Taare Zameen Par starring Aamir Khan, Sriram Raghavan, director/writer of Andhadhun and Bernd Lichtenberg, scriptwriter of Academy Award-nominated Good-Bye Lenin! Later he worked as Visiting Faculty at University of Hertfordshire, North of London, and various other film schools and universities.
Academics - Krimmer holds a Master of Philosophy-degree from the University of Vienna in the subjects of Film, Theatre & Media Studies (major) and Journalism and Mass Communication, German Literature and Philosophy (minors).
