Jennifer Keane was born in Long Island, New York. She had an early interest in dance which progressed and at age 14 she won first place at the Showbiz National Dance Competition in Florida. She went on to study musical theatre after high school at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Upon graduation she began her acting training with Susan Batson whom directed her in a one person show Jennifer wrote called "Surely Shirley" based on the true story of Shirley MacLaine and her first big break. Upon moving to California, Keane booked her first short film 'City Bus' directed by Lauren Hoekstra, student of James Franco at the time. Ironically, her first television credit was The Deuce on Max starring James Franco.Moving back to New York she trained in Stella Adler's three year conservatory program. Now Jennifer is based in Atlanta. Her recent roles include Amber in BMF on Starz, Brandy on The Deuce on Max Season 3 Episode 3, Cece in Twisted House Sitter 2 and Corrine in A Blind Play of Social Forces ; episode 'This is Our North Dakota', voicing Hannah and Amber in audio books Captive, Inhabited & Still. In her spare time she writes screenplays, teaches ballet, tap, hip-hop and creative movement, paints, and develops new characters in class with Vivian Bang and John Maryland.
