Anne Rice's Immortal Universe is showing no signs of slowing down, with new seasons of both Mayfair Witches and Interview with the Vampire on the way. Tongayi Chirisa, who stars in the former as Talamasca agent Ciprien Grieve, recently teased that a crossover between the two series could be in the works.
Speaking with Screen Rant ahead of Mayfair Witches' Season 2 premiere on Jan. 5, Chirisa noted how it would not be unusual for his character to encounter other supernatural beings due to his work with the secret society, Talamasca. "I think for Cip, it's not uncommon to encounter the supernatural," he explained. "I think with what's happening in Season 2, Cip was a certain level of Talamasca agent until certain things start to happen that will finally give him access to some of the deeper secrets of the Talamasca."

Mayfair Witches said goodbye to one of its witches on Sunday.
The penultimate episode of the season was a nail-biter as Rowan (Alexandra Daddario) enacted a plan to save Tessa (Madison Wolfe) after being kidnapped by a group who were against witches.
Despite some hope that Tessa would escape her predicament, she died in the closing moments after being shot by Keith (Ian Hoch).
In an exclusive interview with TV Fanatic, Madison Wolfe revealed she was shocked while reading the episode.
"We were filming episodes five and six, and I didn't get episode seven until right before we started shooting that episode," Wolfe tells TV Fanatic.
"Honestly, my reaction was similar to so many of our audience members because, as you said, I'm reading it, and I'm like, 'okay, she's good. She made it."'
Despite being sad that Tessa had to die, Madison was excited because she had never died on-screen before.

Editor's note: The below contains spoilers for Episode 7 of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches.Last week’s episode of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches was another witchy emotional rollercoaster for Rowan (Alexandra Daddario). The Mayfair women reunited for a special transference of power that seems to have allegedly severed her connection to Lasher (Jack Huston). But, let’s be real, Lasher isn’t going anywhere. The eager Tessa Mayfair (Madison Wolfe) is now the one with Rowan’s powers, and things go sideways rather quickly when conspiracy theorist Keith Murfis (Ian Hoch) meets Tessa in the woods with Deirdre’s (Annabeth Gish) heart. Tessa’s a little high on her new powers and thinks she can easily get the heart from him, but the episode ends with her being kidnapped. It’s time to unpack Episode 7, “Tessa.”...
