Richard Macdowall

Richard began acting at an early age, playing parts in school plays. As a performing arts major in college, Richard was awarded the lead in university plays, and performed many parts of classic playwrights and some from Broadway classics. After school, Richard attended and graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and from a film school in New York. In 2010, Richard founded Independent Artists Pictures and released a short film titled, "Sydney" (2010), a film festival favorite. Other projects like "The Representative" (2011), and "Hollywood: The Documentary" (2011) soon followed. Presently, Richard is in production with "The Gift of A Lifetime" (2013), and "A Pleasant Reunion" (2014).In 2015, Richard founded a new production company, titled Running Streams Films, a mainstream movie production company.
