Edi Mils was born Stefano Edilio Milsani Bedetti in 1979. In 2002 he's got a degree in Movie History at Turin (IT) University (D.A.M.S.) In 2003 he realized his first biopic doc, as S.B., "Michel Over Nous. The Houellebecq Affair", about French writer Michel Houellebecq (The Elementary Particles, Platform, Submission). The co-director was Mark Saracco. In 2006 Lucky Red/Medusa Home Video distributed "Michel Over Nous" on DVD. Still in 2006 Edi started up his activity with "Nulla Res" (Nothing) production company, the only movie company declaring its non existence. With NR he realized, as a filmmaker, the shorts "Winter Vision" (2006), "Décalage/Displacement" (2008, starring model Nisha), "Museum Or The Marble Statue" (2009, starring playmate Petra "Petula Vach" Vachouskova), "Passion Week" (2016). In 2012 Edi Mils moved to Rome from Turin to collaborate with "Isola del Cinema" (The Movies Island), the main Italian summer event for Cinema. In 2017 Edi collaborated with Fargo Entertainment production company (RM) for the documentary "The Love Codes", screened at 74th Venezia Film Festival. In 2018 he starts his cooperation with Treetone Production Company (Rome, IT). He worked on the documentary "Art Bridge" (2018) and on the short film "Rhapsody in Blue" (2018). In 2020 he realized a clip, "beforeaftermask", as a part of Treetone collective documentary "Confinati" (Confined), which never came out. In 2022 Edi Mils completed, as Nulla Res, a brand new short film, "Erotropine", starring Jonathan Hedley, selected in some film fests (Peru, Spain, France, Italy). Still during this year Treetone produced another Edi Mils's work, "The Addends", a short movie loosely inspired by a Saki tale and starring Frédéric Moulin, Violetta Jackson and Hannah Clarissa Knauf.
