Pamela Sabaugh

Pamela was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in the Metropolitan area. She was diagnosed with juvenile macular degeneration at age 14, and began pursuing a career in acting just out of high school. She honed her chops as a triple threat at Wayne State University, starring in roles such as Velma Kelly in the musical Chicago. Her first professional stage role was Frankie in Steven Dietz's The Voice of the Prairie at Detroit's Attic Theatre. Pamela went on to get her MFA in Acting from Rutgers University, studying under renowned Meisner teachers, Maggie Flanigan and William Esper. She then moved to New York City and landed her first recurring TV role as Irene in Daytime's Guiding Light. Her first feature film was One Angry Man, a twist on the classic Twelve Angry Men, starring legendary comic, Jackie Mason. She teamed up with Mason and company again a few years later in Goldberg P.I., filmed on location in Miami. Pamela more recently shared the stage with Broadway veterans, Paul O'Brien and Tommy Schrider, in Keen Company's 2019 Off-Broadway revival of Brian Friel's Molly Sweeney, where she was widely acclaimed for her "commanding performance" in the title role.
