The official website for the upcoming live-action movie adaptation of Kowloon Generic Romance , a mystery romance manga series by Jun Mayuzuki ( After the Rain ), released a main trailer today. In the end of the clip, it is announced that the movie is set to open in Japan on August 29, 2025. Amidst wedding preparations, the career of renowned TV anchor Li-mei (Yu-Wei Shao) takes a big leap. Due to the success of a well-staged interview with the country’s president, her show shoots to the top of the charts. But things don’t run that smoothly at home.
