Warren was born in Northville, Michigan. His parents knew he had an artistic mind and nurtured it through college. The first movie he ever made was back in 1979, he was 7 years old. The film was less than 3 minutes in length, filmed on an old 8mm film camera he found in the attic of his parents' house. He begged his father to buy a roll of film and shot a ghost story with a friend down the street. That's when he said he caught the "bug" for film making and storytelling. That winter his parents' house burned down to the ground due to faulty wiring in the home after having new appliances installed. The film was lost in the fire.

Since then he searched for ways to make this into a career but after high school felt there was no practical way for him to achieve this goal and enrolled in the graphic design program in college.

Warren's love of horror movies sent him to Pittsburgh where he met his favorite special effects makeup artist, Tom Savini. This is where he thought he would have a way to get into the business, but he realized the story telling, acting, directing, writing is where he most wanted to be.

Since then he has acted in, written directed and edited multiple shorts, music videos and features.

He now resides in Akron Ohio (near Cleveland) with his 2 children from his previous marriage and his miniature dachshund Reuben.
