Everyone has a different image in their minds when they hear the name Lana Del Rey. You might be thinking of cherry coke and vintage cars, driving past Venice Beach. You might think of the coquette aesthetic of pink bows and girly dresses. You might even think of her recent hangouts with Taylor Swift at the Grammys and the Super Bowl. With all of these connotations, Lana Del Rey is an unapologetic woman whose art is one not to be messed with.

One thing that Lana Del Rey has made clear in recent years is that she is one to laugh at herself and do things for the heck of it. She was recently spotted working at an Alabama Waffle House and shamelessly posting photos on Instagram of her holding a handgun and a vape. She even wore a dress that she had bought straight off the rack at a shopping mall to the Grammys.

Lana Del Rey has avoided the small-screen stage for years following her widely-discussed 2012 “SNL” performance.

While covering The Hollywood Reporter, the critically acclaimed songwriter and singer, 38, explained her decision to depart from televised performances after her infamous rendition of her hit tracks “Blue Jeans” and “Video Games” on the skit series.

Despite being sent a multitude of offers to bring her pipes to network television, Del Rey admitted she only chose to perform “Let Me Love You Like a Woman” from Chemtrails Over The Country Club on a 2020 episode of “The Tonight Show” – which featured no live audience due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.

“Maybe [performing on TV is] something else I’ll grow into more, like touring. And don’t get me wrong. I toured for nine years of my life. It was nonstop.

She’s in her diner era.

Lana Del Rey, real name Lizzy Grant, 38, caused an online frenzy when a fan spotted the Grammy nominee working at a Waffle House in Florence, Alabama, earlier this week.

The New York native was buttoned-up in a customary Waffle House uniform with a nametag – though fans clearly knew who she was – and black biker shorts, she was even aware enough to tie her hair up, ensuring no strand would land in anyone’s food.

Lana Del Rey is officially through with social media.

The Grammy-nominated singer, real name Lizzy Grant, 37, took to her private Instagram account to announce her departure via an Instagram Story on Saturday.

The account, titled ‘honeymoon’, had to be requested by fans to be accessed and worked as an online personal diary for the “Video Games” singer.

The songstress commonly shared intimate selfies and photos of her personal life and occasionally went on Instagram Live to connect with her dedicated fans.
