Seaman was plotting a sequel to his 1989-set slasher The Barn… and now we have the best possible sort of update to share: The Barn Part II is now available on Blu-ray and DVD! Prolific indie filmmaker Henrique Couto, who credits include Boggy Creek: The Series, Babysitter Massacre, and several Christmas-themed horror shorts we’ve shared over the years, has now brought us Found Footage: The Series, which just arrived on the Tubi streaming service. Man, looking back at it, 2015 seems like an awfully long time ago now. Donald Trump wasn’t yet installed in the White House, the alt-right, though forever bubbling away, hadn’t been emboldened into action across the globe and we, here in the UK, weren’t yet divided by the madness of Brexit.

It was a simpler time indeed.

When I look back at 2015, I think of the good things and my favourite horror film of 2015? Ted Geoghegan’s debut feature, We Are Still Here, a slow-burning, mournful homage to Italian horror cinema of the 1970’s that lifts from what has gone before, while still feeling vital and fresh.

Night of Something Strange Spreads the Fun this July 7th through VOD
Terror Films is set to release Jonathan Straiton's Night of Something Strange. This gross-out horror comedy will release in July, across most Video-on-demand platforms. As well, the film's official trailer and poster have been released; both items can be found here. Night of Something Strange stars: Trey Harrison, Rebecca C. Kasek and Wayne W. Johnson. The latest launch details are hosted here. The trailer shows some of the film's stranger moments. One character experiences a bit of c*&^-rot. There is no relief to that burn. A Tentacled Menace Emerges in this Graphic for Night of Something Strange
The horror film Night of Something Strange has release plans. As well, a new poster for this title has been unveiled. In the film, a bit of late night fun leads to an infection, via a strange sexually transmitted disease. The film stars horror vet' Brinke Stevens, along with Nicola Fiore, Kera O'Bryon and Wayne W. Johnson. A preview of the film's launch is hosted here. The poster for Night of Something Strange shows the spreading infection. One woman, set central on the graphic, hosts a strange tentacle, emerging from a vulnerable location. Other characters look infected. And, the Redwood Hotel promises a night of terror. As well, this indie horror title will show at several film festivals. This title will premiere in New York and Virginia.
