Per PR Times, a major ranking site called Rankingoo recently conducted a survey to discover the nation's top "nostalgic anime" that [viewers] want to watch again." Participants included 9,560 men and women over the age of 30. According to the results, Japan's #1 nostalgic anime, with 667 votes, is Star of the Giants (1968-1971) -- a hit sports anime based on a fictional version of the Yomiuri Giants baseball team. The second and third place winners were Japanese Folklore Tales (662 votes) and Dragon Ball (461 votes), respectively. Mobile Suit Gundam (368 votes) and Touch (365 votes) came in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
