Titled Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, the single-player title will feature Bradley as the demonic Cenobite leader, as he reprises his iconic role for the first time in nearly two decades.

For Zack Snyder, the 2D adult animated “Twilight of the Gods” series (currently streaming on Netflix) became his purest form of visual expression. In fact, his deep dive into Norse mythology was like a fever dream of sex and violence driven by the wild hand-crafted animation from French-based Xilam Animation.

“It was 100 percent like [a fever dream],” Snyder told IndieWire. “The amazing thing about it is the language of 2D adult animation fits so well within the context of Norse mythology, which is a bizarro world anyway. Digging down into it, you’re not going to break it with your own embellishments: We should have a sexy scene here, or we should have some gore here, or we should have some crazy relationships here. You can’t out-Norse it, right? So it was a really fun playground for me because I feel like my natural aesthetic is very close to what it was like reading Norse mythology.

Zack Snyder is at it again, dividing critics with his new animated series Twilight of the Gods. Based on Norse mythology, Twilight of the Gods follows Sigrid (Sylvia Hoeks) as she swears bloody revenge against Thor (Pilou Asbaek) and the rest of the Asgardian deities. The early reviews for Twilight of the Gods are a mixed bag. The majority of reviews have called the series an up-and-down affair. According to critics, Twilight of the Gods combines beautiful visuals (a staple of Snyder's movies) with an undercooked story that lacks narrative depth. However, some critics absolutely adore the show. Steve Seigh of JoBlo wrote, "Twilight of the Gods is a brilliantly bloody and well-crafted epic that brings promise to the filmmakers foray into animation.

Movie lovers will know that Zack Snyder is a very divisive personality in the world of cinema, as you either love his movies or you hate them. With Snyder, there is no in-between; his vision is so specific that you will either like it completely and enjoy his movies or think it completely ridiculous and consider his movies a failure.

There are numerous projects we could cite, but that would take too long. After the recent failure of Rebel Moon, many believed that Snyder’s career was on its way to oblivion, but it seems that his latest project, the animated series Twilight of the Gods, is doing well and might just usher in some new life into his career.

This isn't always a great sign, but the first wave of reviews have been mostly very positive.

Snyder's work has rarely gone over well with critics, but his last Netflix collaboration - the Rebel Moon movies - really came in for a drubbing. So far, Twilight of the Gods has fared a lot better.

Director Zack Snyder has now confirmed that he will return to one of his best-loved franchises, 300, with the divisive filmmaker now working on a prequel TV series set in Sparta. “Baby Reindeer” star Nava Mau may be becoming a trans role model following the success of the Netflix drama and her Emmy nomination for her work on the show, but the actor isn’t ready to call herself an “activist.”

“I really shy away from that word because I think that people who are activists are often times involved with organizing and I deeply respect that work,” Mau told me Friday at the Television Academy’s Performer Nominee Celebration at The Wallis in Beverly Hills. “I tend to call myself an advocate.”

Mau’s nod for outstanding supporting actress in a limited or anthology series or movie makes her the first transgender woman nominated in that category.

Shudder picked up the series starting with Dragula: Resurrection, which was filmed at the contestants’ homes during the Covid quarantine, and season four picked up the following year. This year, Dragula and the Boulets were nominated for two Emmy awards (for makeup and hairstyling).

In addition to six seasons and Resurrection, the Boulet Brothers are also responsible for Dragula: Titans, which also aired on Shudder. Contestants on Titans were all prior competitors on various seasons of Dragula.

Just in time for Halloween, the new season will debut on Shudder and AMC+ in October, featuring a new batch of drag performers competing throughout ten episodes.
