Jolin Tsai
Jolin Tsai is a renowned Taiwanese singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and businesswoman, often referred to as the "Queen of C-Pop". She launched her music career by winning a television singing competition produced by MTV Mandarin in 1998, which led to the release of her debut album the following year. Over the course of her career, she has established herself as one of the most influential figures in the Asian music industry, earning seven Golden Melody Awards and selling over 25 million records across Asia. Known for her constant reinvention and boundary-pushing approach to music and performance, she has become a leading figure in the Chinese pop scene. In addition to her successful music career, she has made notable contributions to the entertainment industry as an actress. She made her acting debut in 2001 with a guest appearance in the TV series Six Friends, and later appeared in Come to My Place (2002) and In Love (2002). Her role in the TV series Hi Working Girl (2003), in which she starred alongside actor Show Lo, became a cult hit among audiences. In 2007, she played the lead role in the film Agent J (2007), which also served as a promotional vehicle for her album of the same name. In 2016, she lent her voice to the character of Judy Hopps in the Taiwanese version of Disney's animated film Zootopia (2016), showcasing her versatility as an actress in addition to her musical talents. With her career spanning multiple fields, she continues to remain a dominant force in entertainment, constantly evolving and pushing creative boundaries.
