Kirsten Slenning is an actor, producer and writer. She went on to work extensively creating theatre with the company she co-founded in 2006, TigerMilk Collective after completing her BFA in Theatre from Simon Fraser University. As an actor Kirsten can be seen in several commercials, television and independent film projects as well as voice-over radio spots and narration. Her first film was playing the lead role in the award-winning short Small Currents directed by Carolyn Combs, which went on to be screened at various festivals throughout Canada and the US and is distributed by Ouat Media.
Most recently Kirsten won a Leo Award for Best Web Series for The Drive as one of the executive producers. She is also one of the writers for the multi award-winning video-on-demand and web-based series produced by East Van Entertainment and available on TELUS Optik Local in Western Canada. The Drive, directed by Stuart Gillies, has received several awards, nominations and festival screenings internationally. You can also see Kirsten on The Drive playing the role of Emily Kinsley. She continues to develop her career as a producer, writer and actor based in Vancouver, BC.
