From the folks behind reality stalwart "Big Brother," 16 "die hard" adult campers will check in to USA Network's "Summer Camp" on July 11. The nefarious group will put down stakes at a lakeside retreat in Big Bear, Calif. to face off with each other in over-the-top classic-game inspired competitions. As contestants get sent home from camp along the way, the remaining campers are left to battle it out in the ultimate "Campathlon."

USA promises friendships, alliances and hookups, as "American Idol" finalist Matt Rogers plays camp counselor -- make that host -- of the show. You've seen the cast list, now Zap2it has your first look at the "Summer Camp" TV promo.

USA is launching an action-packed reality competition series later this summer called "Summer Camp," which brings a group of adults campers together in Big Bear, Calif., where they will battle it out in competitions inspired by classic summer camp games.

At the end of the summer, the contestants will face off in a "Campathalon," an Olympic-style event. Friendships will form, alliances will crumble and hook-ups are inevitable -- it's camp.

Hosted by former "American Idol" finalist Matt Rogers, "Summer Camp" premieres Thursday, July 11 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt on USA. Meet the cast:

Meaghan Cooper, "The Flirt" - (Age 27) - The boys had better watch out, because 27-year-old fitness model and country music artist Meaghan isn't afraid to use her looks as a weapon, and tends to leave a trail of men in her wake. This bombshell loves a challenge, and will do her best to flirt her way to victory.

We checked in today with Zombie Family writer and director Joseph Weisman to get an update on his horror/comedy series, which according to him may receive a possible feature treatment. Read on for the first word and some exclusive new photos!

Filmed this past April in Hollywood, California (see our coverage from the set here), Zombie Family was written and directed by Weisman and stars Mike Apple as ‘Bill’ (the zombie patriarch), actress Laura Napoli as ‘Betty’ (the unit's undead matriarch) and Chuck Lines and Allison Sharpe as the pair's teenage, zombie offspring. Actors Kerry O’Quinn, Doug Jones (Hellboy), Reggie Bannister (Phantasm), Tony Todd (Candyman) and Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever, MoniKa) round out the cast.

Shot this past April in Los Angeles (see our coverage from the set here), the eight-episode series stars not only Apple and Page but also Tony Todd (Candyman), Doug Jones (Pan’s Labyrinth), Reggie Banister (Phantasm), Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever), Charlie O'Connell, Kerry O'Quinn, Jennifer Blanc, Laura Napoli, Allison Sharpe and Chuck Lines. It revolves around the titular family, who attempt to navigate their domestic and professional lives while being, well, dead.

Writer and director Joseph Weisman tipped us off today to the just released teaser clip for his forthcoming horror/comedy web series Zombie Family and also provided us an update on the project. Read on!

“I'm happy to announce that Zombie Family is complete with eight episodes to kick off the franchise,” said Weisman, who shot the series this past April in Los Angeles (see our coverage from the set here).

“I’d like to give a special thanks to (Zombie Family) executive producer and cast member Tony Todd,” continued Weisman, “as well as my amazing cast members Doug Jones, Reggie Banister, Cerina Vincent, Charlie O'Connell, Kerry O'Quinn, Jennifer Blanc and Diamond Dallas Page and of course my amazingly talented Zombie Family: Mike Apple, Laura Napoli, Allison Sharpe and Chuck Lines.” (Writer’s note: the latter two appear in the clip below).

Arriving to a postcard perfect California bungalow in West Hollywood this past Monday, April 16th, I was already privy to the undead horrors I’d find inside, although I doubt the surrounding neighbors were aware that courtesy of filmmaker Joseph Weisman a Zombie Family had moved in.

Shooting day four of six of the intended horror/comedy web series Zombie Family, writer and director Weisman took time between filming a scene (in which a pubescent zombie finds some ‘alone time’ in the home’s bathroom to peruse the ‘Kill of the Month’ centerfold in Homicide Girl Magazine) to chat with us regarding the project, as did associate producer and makeup effects lead Frank Ippolito, actress Cerina Vincent, and more.
