It’s not all that common to come across a show on Netflix that’s so unbelievably crass it makes you question whether cancel culture even exists. Paradise Pd, which often occupied the streamer’s Top 10 TV Shows list in 23 countries, is one of those titles. First debuting on the platform in August 2018, the animated adult comedy series brought to you by Waco O’Guin and Roger Black, co-creators of Brickleberry on Comedy Central, pushes every societal boundary imaginable.

The show Paradise Pd is an adult animated comedy series on Netflix that follows a police department in a small town. From a "drug-sniffing" dog that has developed an addiction, to a senior citizen that somehow remains a member of the police force, Paradise Pd has no shortage of strange characters.

Through it all, Kevin Crawford, the main-protagonist and Chief Randall Crawford's son tries to be the best police officer he can be. Unfortunately, his father seems dead set on making it difficult for him by not providing him with the proper equipment and support. Needless to say, this series is full of outlandish characters which beg the question, where do they fall on Dungeons and Dragons Moral Alignment chart?...

Netflix has picked up a second season of its adult animated comedy series Paradise Pd. The renewal comes two months following the premiere of the series about a backwater Southern-fried, small-town police department featuring the voice of Sarah Chalke.

Netflix continues its push in adult animation with Paradise, P.D.. The Internet network has given a 10-episode order to the new adult animated comedy series from Brickleberry creators Waco O’Guin and Roger Black.

Created by O’Guin and Black, Paradise P.D. takes on a small-town police department. They’re bad cops. Not bad like no nonsense. Not bad like cool. Bad like shitty.

The series, which will premiere later this year, is produced by Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Bento Box Animation.
