Exclusive: MacArthur Park Entertainment has unveiled a first look at Armie Hammer and Rainey Qualley in John Bevilacqua’s neo-noir Night Driver and announced completion of principal photography in L.A.

Described as a throwback to classic car genre films of the ’70s but set in contemporary L.A., Night Driver stars Hammer as a man called Sonny who spends his nights driving around town making pickups and deliveries for people who prefer discretion.

Back home after serving tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, Sonny is haunted by the sights of war and suffers from Ptsd. Juggling requests from his criminal boss, his girlfriend and his ex-wife, Sonny is simply trying to make it to the morning intact.

The film wrapped production in L.A. in June.

At the heart of Pig Hill is Carrie, played by Rainey Qualley, whose growing obsession with the local “pig people” legend leads her into a terrifying investigation. This is a huge understatement, of course, but making movies is hard. They’re gigantic, coordinated efforts between the on-screen talent, creatives, producers, studios, camera operators, and on-set assistants. The list goes on and on. Just getting a movie made is a massive accomplishment. Anyone who manages to do that should be forever proud of that fact. But with some movies, that’s where the pride ends. Unfortunately, Off the Record is one of those movies.

Andie MacDowell made an appearance on Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she revealed she’s experiencing “reverse nepotism” because of her now-famous daughter Margaret Qualley.

The Way Home actress said nepotism is something “they always accuse the children of.” However, she added, “I’m now cool because I’m Margaret Qualley’s mom. And also Jack Antonoff’s mother-in-law. I’m like, it’s a double whammy.”

On Friday night, the couple held their rehearsal dinner at the Black Whale Bar & Fish House in Long Beach Island, New Jersey.

As Page Six reported, hundreds of onlookers clogged the street to get a glimpse of Swift and the other celebrities attending the dinner, including Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz, who were spotted entering the restaurant alongside Swift.

Rob Schroeder’s sci-fi-tinged feature debut expends much effort arranging these nested realities in a furiously scrambled film that makes you feel like you’re the test subject in Inception’s dream machine – and one who’s sniffed a few tubes of Bostik before bedtime. It’s a brave storyteller’s gambit, but there’s something finally underwhelming and convoluted about Ultrasound once it deigns to join the dots.

Shut In is, as I’m sure you’re aware, the new film from Ben Shapiro and his website The Daily Wire. I was initially impressed by the reviews it was getting. Then I noticed how many of them were from sites that, even if they didn’t call themselves conservative, right wing, or even political, had a very obvious point of view. Comments about “beta males”, Hollywood’s “liberal agenda” and complaints about “woke culture” abounded. So, as with their previous. film, Run Hide Fight, I decided to watch it and see if it was a decent thriller or propaganda.

Jessica is a former meth addict struggling to stay straight and raise her two young children. She also wants to sell the house her grandmother left her, move away and start over.

The Daily Wire wants to make conservative movies to take on liberal Hollywood, which might sound like a lost cause from the start. But today it’s releasing a movie based on a Black List screenplay with a compelling genre hook that almost looks commercial — and just happens to sneak conservative values into the heart of its story.
