Blackpink indeed returned stronger than ever. Earlier this month, the South Korean girl group — consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — finally dropped their highly anticipated new single, "Jump," during the opening night of their Deadline World Tour. While some fans have expressed disappointment that the group went on tour without releasing a new full album (especially as each member has been pursuing solo endeavors), the powerhouse girl group continues to prove that, together, they remain an unstoppable force. Case in point: "Jump" recently topped the Global Spotify streaming charts, earning a total of 6.26 million streams — for six consecutive days, no less.
The dance-pop single marks Blackpink’s first song since 2023’s “The Girls.” It has now spent six days at No. 1 and is expected to hold the top spot in the coming days. Trailing behind “Jump” is another K-pop hit (this time from a fictional girl group), titled...

The four-member girl group — comprised of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa — played two sold-out shows at L.A.’s SoFi Stadium on July 12 and July 13, setting a new record as the first girl group to sell out two nights at the stadium. The group’s first L.A. shows in nearly two years, the two nights brought over 100,000 fans to the Inglewood-based venue, according to Live Nation.
The L.A. shows were shrewdly tied to Blackpink’s first group release in nearly three years with the undeniably catchy and energetic single, “Jump,” which was released Friday (July 11). The track, which remains in the top spot of Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global Chart, broke YouTube’s record for the most-viewed video globally in a single day with 26 million views,...

When Lisa spoke to Tyla for Rolling Stone’s Musicians on Musicians last year, she said she couldn’t wait to get “together with the girls” again. After a year and a half of solo ventures — Rosé teaming up with Bruno Mars on “Apt.,” Lisa starring in White Lotus, Jennie commanding the Coachella stage, and Jisoo releasing the underrated pop gem “Earthquake” — Blackpink are back together. And their Deadline World Tour didn’t just reunite the group: it reminded Blinks why they shine brightest together.

It took 46 years, 14 albums, five Grammy Awards, well over 1,000 live renditions of “Fat,” and way too many Hawaiian shirts to even contemplate counting, but “Weird Al” Yankovic finally took the stage at Madison Square Garden on Saturday evening as part of his biggest tour ever. It was an overwhelming moment for the song-parody icon who spent the vast majority of his career playing venues roughly a quarter the size of the famed New York City arena, and he took a break from the carefully choreographed show after just a few songs to soak it in.

Lauryn Hill was one of six artists Drake tapped to share the stage with him on the first of his three nights headlining London’s Wireless Festival this weekend.
The Ovo rapper set an R&b theme for night one of the concert series, which saw him pass the mic to singers such as Mario, Bobby Valentino, Bryson Tiller, and Giveon to churn out their crowd-pleasing singles. Label signee Partynextdoor also got in on the action, with the duo performing a range of tracks from “Come and See Me” to “Moth Balls,” “Somebody Love You” and “Spider-Man Superman” together.
The surprise highlight of the night was Drake bringing out Lauryn Hill, whose performance of “Ex-Factor” transitioned into Drake rapping his 2018 hit single “Nice For What,” which samples the single from Hill’s 1998 Grammy Award-winning album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, for his finale.

What Did Kevin Feige Once Say About Robert Downey Jr.’s Possible Return As Iron Man?(Photo Credit –Wikimedia/Facebook)
Ever since Iron Man was released in 2008, people fell in love with Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of the Marvel superhero. He wooed us with his charms and tricks as Tony Stark, a “billionaire, genius, and a playboy.” He created a unique weaponized suit of armor while being captive in an Afghan cave. Stark came out of it and not only ruled the Marvel world as Iron Man but also ruled over millions of fans’ hearts.
Downey Jr. continued to appear as Iron Man for years in his standalone movies and the Avengers installments. The actor made the character incredibly iconic and approachable to the audience. However, when he died in Avengers: Endgame in 2019, the whole fandom was heartbroken and devastated.
Many fans started to speculate about his possible return to the universe.

James Gunn’s Superman (Photo Credit – Instagram)
James Gunn is finally ready to show the world his take on Superman. After years of buildup and plenty of speculation, the film is all set for release on July 11. It kicks off the new DC Universe under Gunn and Peter Safran without dragging through another origin story. Instead, the story drops straight into a world that already knows Superman and his quieter side as Clark Kent. David Corenswet leads the charge, and the early signs are promising.
Superman 2025 Rotten Tomatoes Score Starts Strong
The first wave of reactions is finally in, and things are looking good. Out of 151 early reviews, the film scored 85 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and picked up the Certified Fresh label. This Polish Sci-Fi Could’ve Rivalled Star Wars But Was Banned Before Reaching Theatres! ( Photo Credit – YouTube )
On the Silver Globe was never meant to be a quiet film. Polish director Andrzej Żuławski started the project sometime in the late 1970s as an ambitious sci-fi vision based on a trilogy of novels by Żuławski’s great-uncle. When Star Wars was transforming Hollywood, Żuławski was creating his own galaxy, in this case, on the moon as astronauts flee from Earth to create a new civilization.

When Bruno Mars Was Busted for Drugs at the Peak of His Debut (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Before the silk shirts, stage lights, and Grammy speeches, Bruno Mars had a not-so-glam moment that could’ve flipped his whole rise. Back when his voice was just starting to blow up speakers worldwide, a wild Vegas night nearly messed up the momentum. Most fans never even clocked it.
When Bruno Mars was Caught With Cocaine
In 2010, around the same time Doo-Wops & Hooligans was breaking into the charts, Bruno Mars (whose real name is Peter Gene Hernandez) got picked up by cops in Las Vegas. According to Billboard, they found him holding a little over 2.6 grams of coke in a restroom at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Instead of dragging it out, he took the deal. The singer owned up in court, joined a rehab-style learning program. He also spent 200 hours giving back through...

ROSÉ explores a softer, folk-inspired sound with Alex Warren in ‘On My Mind’—a surprising and refreshingly raw collaboration.
ROSÉ is proving, once again, that her talent transcends genre. In ‘On My Mind’, a surprise duet with Alex Warren, the Blackpink vocalist distances herself from K-pop’s polished formulas to embrace a more intimate, stripped-back sound. The track, part of Warren’s upcoming album ‘You’ll Be Alright, Kid’ (out 18 July), blends soft folk-pop with emotional lyricism, giving ROSÉ the space to shine in her purest form.
While Alex Warren currently holds the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with ‘Ordinary’, his sonic identity leans far from mainstream pop. Rooted in folk-pop, his music is a slow burn rather than a streaming algorithm hit—making this collaboration all the more intriguing. It’s not the first time ROSÉ has explored a different sound—her previous duet with Bruno Mars...

Drake is a loser in more ways than one in 2025. As the Toronto rapper himself shared on Instagram Wednesday night, he is down more than $8 million in gambling bets this month.
In total, Drake apparently placed close to $125 million in bets over the last month. He also wagered a significant amount of money on Fortnite, and he’s down on that too — to the tune of nearly $6 million.
“Gotta share the other side of gambling…, Drake wrote to caption the Instagram Story. “Losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max these guys max once a week.”
