Darlene Benigno

  • Actress
IMDbProStarmeterSee rank
Darlene grew up in the Chicago suburbs and always was interested in acting. It wasn't until 2005 that her dream came true. She was able to be cast as a background actor in the feature film "The Break-Up". After that, she went on to do other extras work.

In 2008, she was able to land a role as a background actor for the film "Public Enemies". Being a big fan of Johnny Depp, Darlene eagerly booked the job. The job required Darlene to get 10" of her trademark blonde hair cut, in order to have the hairstyles from the 1930's. Darlene got the haircut, and never regretted it. She says it was her favorite film to work on, not only because of Johnny Depp, but because it was a historical period piece of work.

Most recently she worked on the TV shows Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Empire.

She would love to work with directors Clint Eastwood and Martin Scorsese in the future.
