Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston will team up with Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone for Lone Wolf, a new action thriller. Cranston remains best known for his role as anti-hero Walter White in the acclaimed AMC drama Breaking Bad, which concluded in 2013. Gladstone, meanwhile, had her breakout last year with Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon, which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Academy Awards.

Deadline now reports that Cranston and Gladstone will star together in Lone Wolf, an action-thriller to be directed by Mark Pellington (Arlington Road). Tom Chilcoat wrote the script for the film, which will feature Gladstone as a troubled combat veteran recruited by Cranston's contractor character for a covert plot to assassinate a politician. After realizing that it was a set-up, Gladstone's character must take on shadow agents in order to protect her son. Pellington describes the film as a "character-based thriller.

Docuseries “Fugitive: The Mystery of the Crypto Queen,” about one of the most wanted women in the world, has sold across 31 territories, Variety can confirm.

The globe-spanning mystery, which filmed across North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, tells the story of Ruja Ignatova, the founder of fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme OneCoin and the only woman on the FBI’s top 10 Most Wanted list.

“Only one fraudster has made both the FBI and Interpol’s 2022 Most Wanted lists,” reads the synopsis. “After exploiting the cryptocurrency boom in ‘one of the biggest scams in history’, Ruja Ignatova disappeared without a trace – along with billions of dollars. And now the world wants to know where she is.”

The docu-series was written and directed by Rudolph Herzog (“Last Exit: Space”) and Raid Sabbah (“How to Fake a War”), who speak to victims and experts to build a portrait of Ignatova.

Randy Martin, who was known as the ‘Lone Wolf’ on the former DIY Network reality series Texas Flip N Move, has died. He was 65. Martin’s death was announced on his official Facebook page, along with a video slide show featuring pictures of Martin throughout his life. According to Deadline, the reality TV star passed at his home after having been diagnosed with liver cancer. “We are broken-hearted to let you know that Randy passed away early this morning,” read the statement posted on Martin’s Facebook page. “Please pray for his wife and family as they navigate this difficult time. Randy Martin, known as the “Lone Wolf” from the former DIY Network reality series Texas Flip N Move, died Wednesday at his home of liver cancer. He was 65.

His death was announced on his official Facebook page.

Martin’s co-stars from Texas Flip N Move, the Snow Sisters, issued a statement: “We are broken hearted over The Lone Wolf Randy Martin who passed away early this morning. Please pray for his wife and family as they navigate this difficult time. You will be missed.”

Texas Flip N Move started on the DIY Network in 2014. Martin made regular appearances in its first season and was heavily featured as a main cast member through 2017.

Martin is survived by his wife, Judy; and his children and grandchildren.

The Whole Spiel and Lone Wolf Pictures are developing a fantasy drama television series based on Anthony Ryan’s “Raven’s Shadow Trilogy” and “Raven’s Blade” duology books.

The series is going under a working title of “Queen of Fire.”

The series will follow the story of five characters “in a shared destiny of another world, divided into warring nations, where the politics are as cut-throat as any own real-world history,” per Lone Wolf Pictures.

“I am thrilled with the production’s fresh, original and expansive vision for adapting my books and stories for global screen audiences and core fans alike,” Ryan said in a statement. “It is an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with the creative team in bringing my universe and characters to life on screen.”
