Louis Vuitton has dropped a new campaign featuring K-Pop singer Lisa and Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan!

The brand notes that the two House Ambassadors are “depicted as contemporary portraits within the atmospheric paintings of French conceptual artist Laurent Grasso.”

The campaign features clothes from Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière‘s latest runway collection and the photos were shot by Steven Meisel.

“Wearing statement looks from the show, the two internationally acclaimed talents appear immersed in these uncanny yet naturalistic scenes so that close-ups bring a touch of Renaissance composition. Shown in full-length, they are portrayed with slight movement – at once classical and dynamic,” the brand notes.

The campaign launches in print insertions globally on January 16.

Los Angeles, Feb 20 (Ians) Hollywood star Cate Blanchett said that her custom made dress for the award event BAFTAs was made out of deadstock.

Deadstock are items that have never been sold and are unlikely to be sold due to a lack of demand.

At the event, the actress was seen dressed in a high-necked crepe-jersey claret dress teamed with a gem-encrusted choker and there was a strong message of sustainability in the creation.

Nicolas Ghesquiere used the fashion house’s existing stock to create the gown, which took 150 hours, while Francesca Amfitheatrof, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of watches and jewellery, rearranged gems from older collections, including pearls previously worn by Cate to last year’s BAFTAs, in a process described as “creative circularity.”

Louis Vuitton confirmed the four-time Oscar-nominated actress has joined as an ambassador on Tuesday. She joins other previously named ambassadors such as Zendaya, Stray Kids’ Felix and BTS’ J-Hope.

The 29-year-old’s latest feature, The Outrun, premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival earlier this month. Ronan, who attended the Park City premiere dressed in Louis Vuitton, served as a producer on the project, which was directed by Nora Fingscheidt and based on the memoir by Amy Liptrot.

While Hollywood still waits to hear which studios may or may not be throwing Golden Globes events before or after the return of the big HFPA awards show on Jan. 10, it looks like Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery are the first to get the party started.

Invites have just gone out for a Jan. 8 party at historic nightspot The Formosa that read “Warners and New Line film bosses Pam Abdy and Michael De Luca are hosting a party to celebrate Elvis Presley’s birthday. Special guests will include ‘Elvis’ star Austin Butler and the film’s director Baz Luhrmann.”

While there’s no mention of the Globes, which take place two nights later, on the invite, “Elvis” goes into the night with three nominations including nods for drama awards for best picture and Austin Butler for actor and Luhrmann for director, motion picture.

Louis Vuitton has tapped two of Gen Z’s biggest digital stars to front its latest footwear campaign: YouTube sensation and fashion influencer Emma Chamberlain and TikTok’s most-followed creator, Charli D’Amelio.

Chamberlain and D’Amelio are starring in campaigns for the Lv Squad sneaker and Lv Sunset mule, reports Cr Fashion Book, as part of the French luxury house’s pre-fall 2021 collection. Both designs are the brainchild of Nicolas Ghesquiere, artistic director of women’s collections for Louis Vuitton.

The campaign is currently live across myriad photo and video posts on both Louis Vuitton’s Instagram account as well as those of Chamberlain (13.2 million followers) and D’Amelio (42.4 million followers).

Hollywood veteran Meryl Streep will attend Met Gala for the first time, when she hosts the event along with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Emma Stone next year.

Streep, 70, has never made an appearance at the annual event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This will change next year as she has been announced as one of the hosts of the event, reports pagesix.com.

Anyone who’s anyone in Hollywood has a side hustle in the beauty and fashion world. During the Louis Vuitton fashion show at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, on Tuesday, a model made Stranger Things fans even more stoked for the upcoming season premiere by strutting her stuff down the runway in a graphic T-shirt displaying the faces of the Netflix series' stars, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp and Finn Wolfhard.

The model wore the vintage-inspired piece over a sheer, floral blouse, which was styled with light pink pants and sneakers. She certainly turned heads as photographers snapped the chic look from all angles!
