The Voice’s season finale aired last night with Will Champlin and Tessanne Chin from Team Adam Levine and Jacquie Lee from Team Christina Aguilera competing for the winning title. Lady Gaga, Aloe Blacc, Celine Dion, Ne-Yo, Paramore and OneRepublic joined the contestants to perform in a star-studded finale.

The Voice Recap: Group Performances

Chin, Lee and Champlin opened the star-studded night with the rest of the Top 20 performing Outasight’s “Tonight Is The Night.” It was great seeing the rest of the contestants back, and the performance was a lot of fun.

For her Bring-Back Performance Lee brought Matthew Schuler, Caroline Pennell, James Wolpert and Cole Vosbury back to sing an entertaining — but shortened — rendition of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The performance had the coaches rocking out in their seats.

Josh Logan, Schuler, Nic Hawk, Preston Pohl and Ray Boudreaux, some of the eliminated male contestants, came together and performed “Treasure” by Bruno Mars.

Cee Lo, put down your Handbook of Inscrutable Song Choices. Xtina, tuck away your décolletage. Carson Daly, park the promotional Kia in the garage.

Another installment of The Voice has come to its feel-good conclusion — and all that’s left are the inevitable debates about whether Season 5′s champ will finally be the one to achieve breakout, Clarkson- or Underwood-level success and if Mark Burnett will come to his senses and go all Michonne on those blasted SwayBots between now and next spring. (Forgive them, Father, for they know not how to keep time with the music.)

As a veteran of 2006′s Rock Star: Supernova, Josh Logan knows better than any of his current Voice counterparts what national TV exposure can do for the career prospects of a working musician — and how important it is to capitalize on said momentum.

“After Rock Star, I was definitely doing more high profile gigs. I was playing in Iceland. I was playing in Canada. And I was making a hell of a lot more money than before,” Logan recalls. “The problem was, I really didn’t move as quickly as I should have. I dropped the ball.”

Sure to please fans across the nation, “The Voice” season 5 top 12 was unveiled on tonight's (November 7) special results show. Turning up the hype with a fantastic red carpet event, the team leaders rolled out in style in Universal Studios Hollywood.

Posing for a handful of individual snapshots, and later taking a feature "family photo," together, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green all showed up for the event, each of them bringing their own flare, both to the photos, and to the show.

According to the episode results, The two contestants from each team who received the most votes were automatically safe, but the bottom three experienced different fates.

Blake Shelton’s team saved Ray Boudreaux, instead of Shelbie Z and Nic Hawk, while Christina Aguilera’s team, Olivia Henken and Stephanie Anne Johnson were eliminated to save Josh Logan.

‘The Voice’ is slimming down their teams Fast! On Nov. 7, they went from 20 to 12, when each team eliminated two singers each.

Season five of The Voice is definitely full of a great amount of talent. After all four teams took the stage for live performances, eight people still had to go home! While your votes saved two people from each team, each judge had to choose the third person to take to the final 12.

‘The Voice’: Top 12 Revealed

The show opened with Team Blake Shelton taking the stage for an amazing performance of “Free Ride.” Unfortunately, we knew that no one is getting one! The results for Blake’s team were quickly announced, as his team went from five to three.

While Cole Vosbury and Austin Jenckes were the first two saved, Blake left Ray Boudreaux, Nic Hawk and Shelbie Z waiting for the results! Ultimately he eliminated both Shelbie and Nick.

In the spirit of total honesty, I have to make a confession: Whenever Cee Lo Green serves up his usual blend of word salad on The Voice, my brain goes all fuzzy like an old black-and-white TV set with faulty bunny ears. (Cut to all of the show’s teenage contestants: “What do you mean by black-and-white TV set? And what does a TV have to do with bunnies?”)

Before we can get to any results, it's time for a team performance. Taking the stage together for the first time together this season, it's Team Blake. Performing "Free Ride," these five disparate artists don't sound too terrific together. And the less said about that cheesy dance break from Nic Hawk, the better.

Sometimes I am impressed with the depths of This Is the Voice’s marketing machine. Making poor Amber sing Cassadee Pope’s weird alt-pop-country song that was not a hit? It was a genius sort of torture. Amber is really talented, but she had serious pitch problems on much of this one (and not just that last, especially wonky, note). I was surprised! Honestly.

It was ladies' night on The Voice last night, as seven out of 10 performers were female when Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green went head-to-head with the second half of the top 20 artists competing for America's vote.

Crumpler said that Fort Bragg soldier Ruben Chance James Fox and his wife, Amber Nicole Fox, both 23, made their first courtroom appearance in Hoke County on Tuesday after their arrest on Monday.
