‘Outlander’ Season 7 Episode 14 Recap: “Ye Dinna Get Used to It”

Starz’s Outlander season seven episode 14 finally brings Lord John Grey back into the main story. Episode 14, written by author Diana Gabaldon, also finds Bree in danger and Claire meeting a key figure in American history.

“Ye Dinna Get Used to It” opens with a flashback to London 1775. Lord John Grey (David Berry) learns his brother, Harold “Hal” Grey (Sam Hoare), has gout and can’t travel to New York. John can but doesn’t want to, and he’s able to stop Hal from writing a commission. They have a bit of an argument over William, and John assures his brother that when the time comes, he’ll see to his commission. John believes it’s still possible for there to be a peaceful end to the American Revolution – if America apologizes.

Although Hal initially disagrees, he finally admits it...

A Discovery of Witches Series 2 Confirmed to Air in January 2021

Despite the delays caused by the industry-wide Covid-19 shutdown, A Discovery of Witches fans had been crossing their fingers for a late 2020 release date for series two. That’s not quite going to happen, but the wait isn’t going to be much longer. On August the 6th, Sky confirmed on Twitter that the new series will arrive in January 2021.

Here’s the official Tweet confirming the news:

Confirmed: #ADiscoveryOfWitches Series 2. January 2021.

Matthew and Diana will be timewalking on to #SkyOne and @Nowtv in the UK, following soon after on @sundance_now & @Shudder in the US.

Roadside Picnic: W. Earl Brown, Michael Lindall Cast in Wgn America Pilot
Pack a lunch. W. Earl Brown and Michael Lindall have been cast in the Roadside Picnic TV show pilot at Wgn America. Brown played Dan Dority on the Deadwood TV series, which was cancelled after three seasons on HBO. He now plays Sheriff Hugo Root on AMC's Preacher, and was Detective Teague Dixon in the second season of HBO's True Detective. The duo joins Matthew Goode, who was previously cast.Lindall recurs as Finch on the Guilt TV series on Freeform. According to Deadline, he will play Tender, described as, "a brave and daring Army vet recruited to join Red’s excursion into the zone."
