Kelley Mack, an actress, producer and voiceover artist who has appeared in “The Walking Dead,” “9-1-1” and “Chicago Med,” has passed away.

Mack passed away in her hometown of Cincinnati on Saturday, Aug. 1 after a battle with glioma, according to media reports. She was 33.

Across her film and TV credits, Mack is best known for playing Addy, a survivor who resides in the Hilltop Colony, in AMC’s “The Walking Dead” from 2018-2019. She has appeared in episodes of “9-1-1,” “Chicago Med,” “Schooled” and “Coventry.”

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mack discovered her love for storytelling at a young age after being gifted a video camera as a birthday present. She first joined the entertainment industry as an actress, beginning with playing Chloe in 2008 film “The Elephant Garden,” which earned her an acting award from Tisch School of the Arts.

Jonathan Ogilvie is the New Zealand film-maker who made the gangster drama The Tender Hook (2008) and also Lone Wolf (2021), a postmodern spin on Conrad’s The Secret Agent. Now he hits a lighter, gentler and much more personal note in this coming-of-age comedy, which opens the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) – a nostalgiafest romance from the 70s post-punk era about a kid in New Zealand mooching around in his uncool school uniform, hanging out in the local record shop (which still has its prog-era name of Middle Earth Records) and dreaming of starting a punk band called the Daleks – though wondering if just Daleks sounds cooler — and obsessing about an unattainably sexy girl who sneers at him.

Hollywood superstar and soccer club savior Ryan Reynolds has been spending plenty of time in the UK of late and today he was snapped with Great British Bake Off hosts Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, leading to fevered speculation that he will appear in the celeb version of the Channel 4 hit.

The Deadpool star and owner of just-promoted Wrexham AFC posted a picture on Twitter of his getting up close to the British hosts, with the caption “Full and unconditional hug of pure serotonin.”

The post has of course led to speculation that Reynolds will take part in the celeb version of Channel 4’s most-watched show, which will film over the summer and likely air early next year. The civilian version will be released in the weeks prior and has been Channel 4’s most-watched show since it was picked up from the BBC in 2017.

Within an Egyptian underworld, renowned chariot racer Thut (Joe Thomas) lives satisfied with his status as a local celebrity and bachelor. That changes when he’s selected to marry Princess Nefer (Elanor Tomlinson), which includes looking after a wedding ring he must keep safe under penalty of losing his eyes and tongue. Despite neither party wishing to marry, they must journey into 21st-century London when the ring is stolen by archaeologist Lord Sylvester Carnaby (Hugh Bonneville).

Director Juan Jesús García Galocha makes his feature debut with Mummies, a Spanish animation which has subsequently been dubbed for English audiences. What unfolds is an 88-minute feature with few surprises, including obvious gags such as texting via chiselling and the same pose being repeatedly used.

Tubi has announced its first unscripted cooking series, “Kitchen Commando,” hosted by US Army Master Sergeant and White House chef Andre Rush. Executive produced by Gordon Ramsay, the new series enlists Chef Andre to help save struggling restaurants and reignite their passion for the service industry.

Over the 10-episode season, Chef Rush will visit restaurants in the D.C. area that are in need of his discipline, resourcefulness and talents to whip these restaurants back into shape. Chef Rush’s skills will be put the test in the first episode, when he meets a defeated married couple whose crab-themed restaurant is now a toxic mess.

“Kitchen Commando” premieres on February 12, 2023 with a new episode rolling out every Sunday for ten weeks. “Kitchen Commando” is a Fox Alternative Entertainment and Studio Ramsay Global production.

The film follows the fun adventures of three Egyptian mummies who live in an underground secret city, hidden in ancient Egypt. The trio includes a princess, a former charioteer, and his younger brother along with their pet baby crocodile. Through a series of unfortunate events, the mummies end up in present-day London and embark on a wacky and hilarious journey in search of an old ring belonging to the Royal Family, that was stolen by the ambitious archaeologist Lord Carnaby.

A tweet that compares David Beckham to Simon from The Inbetweeners has gone viral after the former footballer queued with the public to pay tribute to the late Queen.

Beckham waited 13 hours in the public queue to view the Queen lying in state in Westminster Hall on Friday (16 September).

Many have since speculated that Beckham queued in an act of desperation to receive a knighthood.

One post, from the @InbetweenerVidz Twitter account, has gone viral – racking up 5,288 likes at the time of writing.

The post includes a clip of Joe Thomas’s character Simon coming home and telling his mother that dinner “better be delicious”, before turning on the TV and sobbing on his bed.

The caption reads: “David Beckham getting home this evening and discovering that he still hasn’t got that knighthood, despite queuing up for 13 hours to see the Queen lying in state.”

Screen Media has picked up North American rights from Arclight Films to the Russell Crowe and Liam Hemsworth thriller Poker Face.

RZA and Elsa Pataky also star in the story set in the world of high stakes poker as a tech billionaire and gambler offers friends the chance to make more money than they’ve ever dreamed of so long as they give up their secrets.

Screen Media, a division of Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, has acquired North American rights to “Poker Face,” a thriller starring Russell Crowe and Liam Hemsworth.

Crowe also directed the film, which is scheduled to release in theaters on Nov. 16. It’ll land on digital platforms on Nov. 22.

Set in the world of high-stakes betting, “Poker Face” stars Crowe as tech billionaire and gambler Jake Foley, who offers his best friends a chance to win more money than they’ve ever dreamed of. But to play, they’ll have to give up the one thing they spend their lives trying to keep…their secrets. As the game unfolds, the long-time pals will discover what is really at stake.

Along with Crowe and Hemsworth, the cast includes RZA of Wu-Tang Clan fame and “Fast and Furious” star Elsa Pataky. Stephen M. Coates wrote the screenplay with Crowe.

Arclight Films handled worldwide rights for the film.
