Richard Lublin

Richard Lublin was born in Hartford, Connecticut. He attended Duke University, where he earned his B.A. After graduating Cornell Law School with a J.D., Richard became a trial attorney in Hartford. He was a founding partner of a highly successful law firm and practiced until 1996. By the mid-1990s, after retiring from his law practice, friends in the entertainment business recommended him for various television roles, and Richard appeared on many popular shows like Frasier, Law & Order, Married With Children, Ally McBeal and Chicago Hope. Richard Lublin has also appeared in film roles, most notably as a mourner in Sidney Lumet's acclaimed movie: Before The Devil Knows You're Dead. He appeared alongside actors such as the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei, Ethan Hawke and Albert Finney. Richard's most recent appearance is in a new feature film, The Land of Steady Habits, where he plays the role of a friendly neighbor to the leading actor, Anders Hill (played by the talented Ben Mendelsohn). Edie Falco also stars in the film. Giving back to the community has always held a special place in Richard Lublin's heart. A generous philanthropist, Richard has established medical research foundations and sponsored donated educational scholarships.
