But to the fellow songwriters who’ve spent years asking why their revenues have dried up in the streaming era, such a claim is yet another affirmation for how difficult it’s become to enjoy a sustainable career.

FKA twigs is currently fighting a legal battle against her former partner, actor Shia Labeouf, whom she’s accused of crimes including sexual assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress.

Labeouf has denied the allegations first brought against him in 2020, and the two will appear in court from mid-April.

Twigs – real name Tahliah Barnett – dated the Honey Boy actor and former child star from mid-2018 to mid-2019.

Fox‘s American Idol may be going back to its roots, betting on a hot music producer who is virtually unknown to the public as a judge — just as it did with Simon Cowell in 2002. The network is in negotiations with Dr. Luke (real name Lukasz Gottwald) to join the judging panel of the singing competition for its upcoming 13th season. Earlier this month, Fox chairman Kevin Reilly confirmed that the network had had discussions with all rumored judge candidates, a list that included Dr. Luke and will.i.am. The latter’s name started picking up steam in the past couple of weeks, though I hear talks between him and Fox never got serious. Meanwhile, hope is that Dr. Luke, who was tipped for the job by Us Magazine earlier today, will close a deal to join returning judges Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez, whose signing has yet to be officially announced.

Bonnie McKee is undoubtedly one of the premiere Top-40 songwriters, having penned numerous No. 1 singles for the likes of Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Rae Jepsen. Casting is in full swing for 90210 season five, which began in October. The reboot series has scooped up several celebs for upcoming episodes. These guest stars include NFL star Terrell Owens and former New Kid on the Block band member Joey McIntyre.

TV loves Owens. He has taken a ride on the reality television wagon and now he’s all set to deliver a cameo on 90210 in February. The TVLine exclusive revealed his episode will include a huge charity event where celebrities, including Owens, will be in attendance.

Taio Cruz is joining the 90210 party.

As reported by TV Line, the musician is the latest big name to sign on for show's upcoming 100th episode (joining Carmen Electra and Denise Richards, among others). He will appear as himself and perform at a West Beverly alumni homecoming event hosted by the Playboy Mansion.

Cruz joins Ne-Yo, Nelly Furtado and Carly Rae Jepsen as artists who will pop up at various times this fall on The CW drama.

90210 Season 5 gets underway on Monday, October 8.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw is leaving "Touch."

The actress, who portrayed social worker Clea Hopkins in Season 1 of the Fox drama isn't returning for Season 2, according to Indiewire. Her character,

according to SocialWorkersSpeak.org, is no longer as integral to the plot as she was at the beginning of Season 1 of "Touch," starring Kiefer Sutherland and David Mazouz.

Mbatha-Raw's other TV roles have included "Undercovers," "Bonekickers," "Doctor Who" and more.

Playing himself, Cruz will perform at a West Beverly High School alumni homecoming event thrown at the infamous Playboy Mansion.
