Tetsuki Ijichi has been in the industry since the 80s, as a producer, actor, and distributor through his label Rain Trail Pictures. It is only now, however, that he debuts as a filmmaker, with a genre short that uses a ghost story as its base.

Cross between Resident Evil and The Office. Bloodlust Zombies lacks the sophistication of Resident Evil and the sharp comedy of the Office. For the most part, Bloodlust Zombies doesn't work as a serious addition to the sub-genre. The overall scenario in Bloodlust Zombies is never convincing, because the film is too broadly made and acted. The performances are too over the top which results in the zombies never coming across as genuinely frightening. No particular cast member stands out as being a likable presence to help carry the film. And while there is humor, the cast doesn't have the finesse or the comedic timing to properly pull it off. The...
