Another former The Young and the Restless star is set to make the leap to join the cast of Days of Our Lives. Switching between soaps is commonplace for many stars, and there are numerous instances of actors transitioning from one prominent role to another, as well as actors swapping roles.
Soap operas have become a core part of American daytime television, and some of the longest-running and most respected soap operas of all time have enjoyed massive success on US TV. With diverse casts and plenty of melodrama, these shows are prominent parts of US popular culture.

No comment about the role he is playing nor the storyline in which he is involved. Stay tuned!”

Writer/Director Christopher Folkens’ debut feature film “Catalyst”, is a gritty, contained thriller that explores the dark storylines that headline modern life. ‘Catalyst’ is a psychological thriller set to premiere across all major Tvod platforms on Tuesday February 11th. The grounded sci-fi thriller film revolves around seven strangers who wake up surrounded by an electrical force field, with collars around their necks. With no escape in sight and their captors standing guard they must unfold their darkest truths to gain their freedom and save their lives before time runs out.
The film was shot in a stunningly unique manner. Principal photography began in June of 2017 where over seven hours of footage was shot on three cameras with 100% improvised dialogue. Those sequences were expertly cut together by director Christopher Folkens which created the skeleton of what would become the feature length script, (written by Folkens with story credits to producers David Bianchi...

It’s late January, and Tosca Musk is settling into an editing session in the suburban Atlanta headquarters of Passionflix, the romance movie streaming service she founded in 2017 and runs as CEO. A vanilla-scented candle burns in the reception area, an upbeat song from German pop band Milky Chance plays on the sound system, and a man with a chiseled jawline and piercing blue eyes looms on a giant screen in the mixing room. “He could literally have chemistry with a paper bag,” Musk says of the actor, Michael Roark, who plays a half-breed vampire named Butch in her newest adaptation — a best-selling paranormal erotica series called The Black Dagger Brotherhood.

Amazon Studios has unveiled the first stills from its holiday romantic comedy Something from Tiffany’s, starring Zoey Deutch (Not Okay) and Kendrick Sampson (Insecure), which is poised to launch globally on Prime Video on December 9th.
The Amazon Original, based on Melissa Hill’s novel of the same name, watches as a woman’s life is upended, when an engagement ring meant for someone else leads her to the person she’s meant to be with.
Nothing compares to the magic and excitement of the holidays in New York City, where the streets blaze with lights, windows dazzle, and a special box from Tiffany could change the course of a person’s life. Or several lives. Rachel and Gary (Deutch and Ray Nicholson) are happy enough, but not quite ready for that big commitment. Ethan and Vanessa (Sampson and Shay Mitchell), the perfect picture, are just about to make it official.

Dirt biking is one of the most exciting and adrenaline-pumping sports out there. For many people, it’s the perfect way to get out and explore the great outdoors while getting a fantastic workout. And, of course, there’s the bonus of being able to show off your skills to your friends.
Dirt biking is a form of off-road motorcycle racing that takes place on natural terrains such as dirt, grass, and sand. Unlike motocross, which is held on manufactured tracks, dirt bikes allow riders to test their skills on more challenging and varied terrain.
Racing Dirt bikes requires a high level of skill and fitness, as riders must be able to handle their bikes at high speeds over rough terrain. But for those who are up for the challenge, dirt bike races provide an exhilarating way to experience the great outdoors.

“Angel Has Fallen” continues to fly at the box office. The Lionsgate and Millennium film is heading for a $14 million Labor Day weekend, following $2.8 million in Friday’s domestic ticket sales.
While slightly below earlier predictions, that should push the film’s total domestic gross to around $43 million come Monday. “Angel Has Fallen” beat expectations when it debuted to $21.25 million last weekend — on par with its predecessors, 2016’s “London Has Fallen” and 2013’s “Olympus Has Fallen.” Gerard Butler stars in the action franchise as a Secret Service agent who must prove his innocence after being framed for an attack on the United States president (Morgan Freeman).
Universal’s “Good Boys” also showed some staying power in its third weekend, earning $2.3 million on Friday for an estimated $11.4 million Labor Day Weekend. If estimates hold, the R-rated comedy should lift its 18-day total to about $57 million. Disney’s “The Lion King,” Universal...

“We’re gonna lose the farm, son!” husks country star Trace Adkins in the trailer for “Bennett’s War,” which then goes on to further suggest the viewer is in for a steaming pile of platitudinous corn, with a side order of flag-waving. And indeed, Alex Ranarivelo’s sports drama has a pretty hokey story gist: Wounded military veteran forces himself to miraculously recover his full mobility so he can return to motocross racing and get that prize money to … yep, save the family farm.
Maybe such on-the-nose marketing works for some Heartland audiences, but the good news about that bad trailer is that it does this film a disservice. While “War” may be a duly formulaic feel-gooder at heart, it also soft-pedals the more potentially heavy-handed emotional beats to pleasing effect.

Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman are showing staying power at the North American box office as “Angel Has Fallen” heads for a passable $15 million Labor Day holiday weekend, late afternoon estimates showed Friday.
The third entry in Lionsgate-Millennium’s action franchise will finish the frame with about $44 million in its first 11 days. Butler stars as a Secret Service Agent trying to clear his name after being framed for an attack on the U.S. President, played by Freeman.
“Angel Has Fallen,” which took in $21 million in its opening weekend, will easily top the third weekend of Universal’s R-rated comedy “Good Boys” during the four-day frame. “Good Boys” should take in around $10 million, lifting its 18-day total to about $57 million.
Disney’s seventh weekend of its photorealistic remake of “The Lion King” and Sony’s second weekend of faith-based drama “Overcomer” will battle for third place with about $8 million each.

"Going wheel to wheel is not smart for someone in your condition." Forrest Films has debuted an official trailer for an indie injured war veteran meets racing sports drama titled Bennett's War, the latest from filmmaker Alex Ranarivelo. The film is about a young soldier in the Army Motorcycle Unit named Marshall Bennett, who is injured by an Ied while serving in combat. He returns home and makes a remarkable comeback from a broken back and leg to be a champion motorcross racer. Michael Roark stars as Bennett, with a cast including country star Trace Adkins, plus Ali Afshar, Allison Paige, Hunter Clowdus, Brando Eaton, Tony Panterra, Michael King, & Taylor Kalupa. This looks exactly as cheesy and kitschy and uber heroic as described, but maybe that's what works for this. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Alex Ranarivelo's Bennett's War, direct from YouTube: After surviving an Ied explosion in combat overseas,...

Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Magic Mike Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer play strippers in Steven Soderbergh's next, a comedy entitled Magic Mike. Back in 1983, The Blue Lagoon's Christopher Atkins played a "sexy" dancer in John G. Avildsen's drama A Night in Heaven; it flopped. Paul Verhoeven's Showgirls (1995) was such a critical and box-office disaster that it all but ruined the director's Hollywood career. (True, Starship Troopers and Hollow Man didn't help matters any.) Will Soderbergh be able to strip the curse off of movies about strippers? Well, that all depends on how the filmmaker portrays his characters and the subject of sex. A moralizing movie about strippers, one that condescends to its characters, would definitely be a bad approach. That is, unless Soderbergh wants to lure only members of the censorship board of the Motion Picture Association of America. The fact is: prudes won't bother watching something like Magic Mike,...

Dolphin Tale was shot on-location in Florida where Winter the Dolphin lives. The cast spent a lot of time together, so much in fact, that the films two kid stars even name the same movie as their favorite!
Cozi Zuehlsdorff (pictured right), who plays "Hazel" says, "I love Bridge to Terabithia. I think that if you're ready to be really, really sad you should watch that movie, it's really awesome!"
Her co-star Nathan Gamble (also pictured) who plays "Sawyer" agrees. "I saw Bridge to Terabithia was a few days ago. That's a good one! I was surprised how amazing it was!"
Hey, they look a little bit like Terabithia's stars Josh Hutcherson and Annasophia Robb!
Some of the slightly older stars PICKed movies from their childhood. Austin Highsmith ("Phoebe") says, "My favorite movie for kids is Annie. I watched it until the tape ran out when I was a kid!
