“America’s Got Talent” has gone to the dogs.
Last summer, Adrian Stoica and Hurricane beat the odds to win Season 18 of “AGT,” more than a decade after Olate Dogs first barked their way to a victory in Season 7. Now in Season 19, Roni Sagi and Rhythm are hoping to become the third dog act to prevail in the nearly two-decade history of “America’s Got Talent.”
The lovable duo competed last week alongside the other nine finalists — air-dance group Airfootworks, dance crew Brent Street, singer Dee Dee Simon, acrobatic group Hakuna Matata Acrobats, comedian Learnmore Jonasi, singer Richard Goodall, aerial duo Sebastián & Sonia, quick-change artist Solange Kardinaly, and drone group Sky Elements — during the Finals performance show.
According to Gold Derby’s winner predictions, Richard Goodall has leading 39/50 odds to prevail, while Sky Elements and Solange Kardinaly are tied for second place at 6/1 odds. There is then a three-way tie for fourth...

“America’s Got Talent” is TV’s only competition show that embraces all forms of variety acts, whether you’re a singer, a comedian, a magician, an aerialist, or anything in between. Throughout its nearly two decades on NBC, seven solo singers have claimed victory, with the most recent one being Season 14’s Kodi Lee. (See the “AGT” winners list.) However, there are four specific categories that have yet to win the top prize of $1 million and a headline show in Las Vegas. Can any of these types of acts make “AGT” history during the Season 19 finale on Tuesday, September 24?
First up, here’s a refresher on this year’s Top 10 finalists: singer Richard Goodall, quick-change artist Solange Kardinaly, air-dance group Airfootworks, dance crew Brent Street, singer Dee Dee Simon, acrobatic group Hakuna Matata Acrobats, comedian Learnmore Jonasi, dog act Roni Sagi & Rhythm, aerial duo Sebastián & Sonia, and drone group Sky Elements.

With cult popularity comes a need to cash in on the anime franchise. While one may think Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece and Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto are the most merchandisable series, that isn’t the case. Although both series have their fair share of unique merch, there’s another series franchise that takes the cake with its over $102 billion net worth.

From cards and collectibles to apparel and decor, Pokémon has the highest-selling merchandise. Apart from its growing fanbase and viewership, the franchise is soaring heights with its business ventures. However, Oda and Kishimoto’s magnum opus aren’t too far behind with their brand collaborations and merchandise releases.

Ever since snatching the season 16 crown on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” life for Nymphia Wind has been nothing short of a whirlwind experience.
She has performed for the President of Taiwan, opened for Steve Aoki at the Gold Gala after party, joined her fellow queens at the Critics Choice Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema and Television and, earlier this month, performed at Vice President Kamala Harris’ Pride Celebration in Washington D.C. She has yet to sit down and have an “Oh God, I won” moment — and she has no intention of stopping for one.
“It’s been wild and crazy,” she says speaking to Variety over a Zoom call from Taiwan.
Here, Wind reflects on her historic win; she is the first-ever Taiwanese queen and the third Api winner, following in the footsteps of Season 3’s winner Raja and Season 15 queen Sasha Colby. She also talks about meeting Jane Goodall on Earth Day,...

In a recent editorial, we highlighted “lifestyle” festivals as one type of event that is thriving in this challenging turning point for the music industry. If you consider that the industry itself is a lifestyle in its own right, the announcement of the new Elsewhere Festival and Conference makes perfect sense. Taking place in Wichita, Kansas on June 21st and 22nd, Elsewhere is designed to bolster opportunities for artists and music professionals in the community.
But that doesn’t mean it’s taking a strictly local approach to its lineup: Headliners include Killer Mike, Steve Aoki, Vince Staples, and Lane 8. Also on the bill are Badbadnotgood, TOKiMONSTA, Snow Tha Product, Le Youth, Blu DeTiger, Sunflower Bean, Pup, Sudan Archives, A Place to Bury Strangers, Oh He Dead, Thick, and more. As for Wichita-based talent, there’s Breeding Brainbow, Flake, Glass Age, Goaty the Kid, Paris Jane, Sir Charles, Apathy Unit.

Miami’s Ultra Music Festival was forced to cut its opening day festivities short Friday as severe weather swept into the area.
Even before the festival opened Friday, organizers warned attendees that they were anticipating rain in the forecast, and recommended that they bring ponchos and raincoats. By nightfall, however, the rain arrived with both strong winds and lightning, forcing organizers to “temporarily” shut down the festival at Miami’s Bayfront Park.

T-Pain says he plans to continue to write country music songs as a ghostwriter.
The singer-songwriter-producer recently made headlines when he revealed that he stopped taking credit for the country songs he’s worked on because of the “racism” he dealt with in the genre.
“I wrote a lot of country songs, and the country songs that I get credit on — I wouldn’t say backlash or anything like that — but [there] was a lot of criticism of, ‘Why did they let a Black person be a part of this?’ or things like that. It was just a lot of that stuff. So I kind of just backed off from putting my name on things and just collect the money,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t need to be known for any of that. That’s fine.”

Ending the year in signs is the hilarious, adventurous, sharp-tongued era of Sagittarius.
There’s truly nothing like them. They are quirky, mysterious and full of life. While they naturally grab the attention in the room, they feel most comfortable when they’re in their lonesome.
Sagittarius is the jack-of-trades sign; the sign that takes up space in every all industries — whether they be an actor, comedian or a bus driver — their versatility allows them to do it all. And that flexibility helps fuel their “I’ll try anything once” mindset. To them, what is life if you’re not living it to your fullest? The only thing you have to beware of is their slick mouth. Between Sagittarius, Virgo and Aries it’s hard to tell which sign is more brutally honest. Truly, to know Sagittarius is to love them. And if you don’t love…it doesn’t...
