Rated 8 on IMDb and helmed by Nisarg Vaidya, the film marks the debut of Swwapnil Joshi. It is produced by Manasi Parekh, who also stars in the gangster drama. The Manasi Parekh starrer Gujarati crime-thriller Shubhchintak is witnessing a dismal run at the box office. The film did start off at a good note but the collections are failing to witness a good upward graph. Here is taking a look at the box office performance of the film on its 4th day.

The Manasi Parekh starrer opened at 14 lakhs which was not a very bad opening. In fact, it also found a place within the top 5 Gujarati openers of 2025. It saw a slight growth of around 14% on its second day and amassed 16 lakhs.

On its third day, however, the film saw an impressive growth of 93% and amassed 31 lakhs. However, on its fourth day, the movie saw a decline and minted the same as its opening day. The collections saw a drop of around 54% and earned 14 lakhs.

Anand Ekarshi’s Malayalam-language “Aattam” (“The Play”) was named best film on Friday at India’s National Film Awards. The film also won editing for Mahesh Bhuvanend and original screenplay for Ekarshi.

Sooraj R. Barjatya won best director for Bollywood film “Uunchai,” starring Amitabh Bachchan. Neena Gupta won supporting actress for the film.

Rishabh Shetty’s Kannada-language “Kantara” won the award for ‘best film providing wholesome entertainment,’ while Shetty also won best actor.

The best actress award was shared by Nithya Menen for Tamil-language “Thiruchitrambalam” and Manasi Parekh for Gujarati-language “Kutch Express.” “Thiruchitrambalam” also won the choreography award for Jani Master and Sathish Krishnan, while Niki Joshi won the costume designer award for “Kutch Express.”

Veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah, who is known for her iconic character Maya Sarabhai from the Indian sitcom ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ is set to make her foray in Gujarati cinema with ‘Kutch Express’. The actress called the film an “unusual opportunity”.

The film, the poster of which was recently released, also stars Manasi Parekh, Darsheel Safary from ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and Dharmendra Gohil.
