"America's Best Dance Crew" has been canceled after seven seasons.
The dance competition show helmed by Randy Jackson saw strong ratings in its early years, with viewers dropping out as the series progressed.
"We are grateful to Randy Jackson and Warner Horizon for having brought our audience seven amazing seasons of dance with 'Abdc,' and look forward to more successful and dynamic entertaining collaborations in the future," MTV said in a statement, according to Variety.
"Abdc" wasn't without controversy. Choreographer Shane Sparks was charged with 8 counts of child molestation in 2009. Sparks was also served as a choreographer on "So You Think You Can Dance."
The series' final season wrapped up in June and featured dance crews 8 Flavahz, Elektrolytes, Mos Wanted Crew, Fanny Pak, Rated Next Generation, Collizion Crew and more. Lil Mama and Jc Chasez served as judges for all seven seasons.

While Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears are snagging headlines for their reality show antics, let us not forget that J.C. Chasez is the Og Mmc judge, having been with America's Best Dance Crew since 2008.
Now in its seventh season, MTV's dance battle show is having its most unpredictable season yet and that's just one of the reasons J.C. is particularly jazzed about it. I caught up with him to find out what makes ABDC7 so special, what you'll never see on the show and what his approach to judging is.
Insider.com: What did you make of this season's crews?
J.C. Chasez: I didn't know what to expect from these crews, but I've been so pleasantly surprised by the caliber of talent. Overall, it seems like in seasons past, there were three crews from the beginning that people thought were going to win. But this year, almost every crew has the chance to win if...

It was another "Season of the Superstars" as "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew" (Wed., 10 p.m. Et on MTV) returned for a seventh season, and the theme wasn't the only thing that returned. For some reason, the second runner up from the second season, Fanny Pak, returned because of unfinished business or something. But why were they given a second chance?
The theme for the first night of the competition was Britney Spears, who has reportedly secured, or is close to securing her deal to be the new judge on "The X Factor" for $15 million. And girl power was represented by two all-girl crews in the ten competitors.
Irratik certainly got the judges attention when they incorporated a take on the infamous Madonna-Britney Spears kiss. Jc Chasez said it was fun and then added, "for any guy watching the show." Fellow judge D-Trix took a more blunt approach saying,...
