Image
Streamer BritBox has extended its production partnership with the Agatha Christie estate.

BritBox, which is jointly owned by BBC Studios and ITV, has signed on for three more productions with Agatha Christie Limited and Mamoth Screen.

The trio have already collaborated on an adaptation of Christie’s novel “Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?” (pictured above) starring Emma Thompson and Will Poulter, which will premiere on the platform in April.

BritBox have not yet confirmed which of the author’s prolific output they will be working on next but they have said each of the three adaptations will be “steered by a distinctive voice – a director, a writer or auteur – bringing an entirely new perspective and style to Agatha Christie’s novels.”

BritBox was set to make the announcement Wednesday during its portion of the Television Critics Association winter virtual press tour. As part of the announcement, Emily Powers, head of BritBox North America,...

‘The Voice’ head-scratcher: Why can’t Kelly Clarkson get a male artist on her team? She just won with Jake Hoot
The Voice (2011)
Just one season after winning “The Voice” with country artist Jake Hoot, coach Kelly Clarkson is having a heck of a time convincing any male artists to join her Season 18 team. In fact, after four blind audition episodes Kelly has acquired only eight female artists with two spots still to be filled. (See Kelly’s Season 18 team.) “I have all girls,” Kelly declared about her artists during Monday’s fourth episode. Fellow coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend and Nick Jonas have teams made up of both genders, with John earning his first female artist (Zan Fiskum) this week.

The fact that Kelly is a three-time “Voice” champion makes her difficulties in convincing guys to join her team even more of a head-scratcher. She’s only been a coach on NBC’s reality TV show for four previous cycles, and she prevailed with Brynn Cartelli (Season 14), Chevel Shepherd (Season 15) and Jake...

How many artists does each ‘The Voice’ coach still need to complete their Season 18 teams?
The Voice (2011)
We’re halfway through “The Voice” Season 18 blind auditions, with each coach coming closer and closer to completing their teams. As of this writing, Blake Shelton has 6 of his 10 artists, while Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas currently have 5 of 10. Yep, you read that right. As Kelly explained during Monday’s episode, this season the coaches’ teams will consist of 10 contestants apiece as opposed to the normal 12. With all four Blocks being utilized already, that means “The Voice” judges will have to rely on their savvy pitches in order to convince the remaining artists to join them.

How many artists does each “The Voice” coach still need to complete their Season 18 teams? We’ll be updating this page after every blind audition episode airs on NBC, so keep checking back.

The Voice Recap: Thunderstorm Strikes, Reducing the Coaches to 'Cheerleaders'
The Voice (2011)
The forecast for Monday’s episode of The Voice called for a thunderstorm — make that a Thunderstorm Artis, the memorably-monikered contestant whose impeccably-polished vocals made Blake Shelton remark that his Blind Audition “sounded like it was prerecorded.” Kelly Clarkson didn’t even think that there was anything the coaches could teach him. “We’re just gonna be your cheerleaders,” she said. Read on, and we’ll not only review our new frontrunner’s Beatles cover, we’ll discuss all of the evening’s tryouts, from the “meh” to the “amazing.”
