Remember when Vanderpump Rules was just that little spin-off show about the messy lives of Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant staff? Who would’ve thought that a bunch of aspiring actors/models/musicians working at Sur would end up giving us some of the most memorable moments in reality TV history? Since its debut in 2013, this show has transformed from a simple Real Housewives offshoot into a cultural phenomenon that’s redefined what we expect from reality television.

What started as manufactured drama between beautiful people serving goat cheese balls has evolved into a complex web of genuine friendships, bitter betrayals, and real-life consequences that keep viewers coming back for more. Through divorces, cheating scandals, business ventures, and countless rounds of “he said, she said,” the show has maintained its grip on audiences by delivering something increasingly rare in reality TV: authenticity.

Vanderpump Rules has seen a few cast members come and go, but season 1 star Laura-Leigh is still a standout years after leaving the Bravo show. Where is Laura-Leigh now, and what has she been up to since appearing on the reality TV series?
Laura-Leigh Moser | Kevin Winter/Getty Images Who is Laura-Leigh on ‘Vanderpump Rules’?
Laura-Leigh Moser only appeared in the first season of Vanderpump Rules, but she made an indelible mark on the Bravo show.
She started dating main cast member Jax Taylor shortly after his breakup with Stassi Schroeder. Their rebound relationship made waves among their fellow cast members and Sur servers. At a staff meeting, Laura-Leigh accused Stassi of bullying her via text messages over her romance with the bartender.
Laura-Leigh opened up on the show about her addiction to drugs and alcohol. She invited Jax to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with her, and he promptly dumped her afterward.

Let's take a walk down Vanderpump Rules memory lane — to Season 2 when Laura-Leigh Claire stepped onto the scene as Jax Taylor's rebound chick. Fans may recall the aspiring actress was hooking up with Sur's resident bad boy after Stassi Schroeder kicked him to the curb — but since then, she's moved on to bigger and better gigs. So what happened to Laura-Leigh post-Pump? Let's take a look! When Laura-Leigh turned in her sexy black dress to boss Lisa Vanderpump, she revealed that she had accepted a role in a movie also starring Jennifer Aniston. That movie turned out to be hit 2013 comedy We're the Millers, which also featured Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts, Will Poulter, and Ed Helms. How major is that!? She also appeared in 15 episodes of Lifetime's The Client List as Nikki Shannon and recently completed shooting for the upcoming crime thriller Under the Silver Lake, which will also feature Riley Keough,...

Thanks to the toxic hooking up culture of Vanderpump Rules, there've been several cast members who've come and gone over the past six seasons. After all, the staff at Sur are fairly incestuous, choosing to only hook up, date, and befriend within their small social circle. But every once and a while a cast member comes along to shake things up...and then they quietly leave and we never hear from them again. But if you're wondering whatever happened to folks like Frank or "Miami Girl," they're all busy pursuing other endeavors away from reality TV. For Laura-Leigh Claire, who boldly declared on the show that she couldn't wait to quit Sur once she got a film offer, she's now a bonafide actress. However, after appearing in 2013's We're the Millers, her career stalled for a year or two. She even disappeared from social media. However, this year she's back and promoting her upcoming film,...

How anyone could ever leave Sur is beyond us, but it has been done, and these former cast members are proof there is life after Vanderpump Rules. Vail Bloom, a 2004 graduate of Princeton University, worked as a hostess at Lisa Vanderpump's famed restaurant and appeared in the show's third season. She'd earned a Daytime Emmy nod for her role on The Young and the Restless prior to Pump, and per Bravo, she's still acting and recently appeared in a film called Too Late. For a brief time in 2015, Bloom was romantically linked to Chris Pine. Not a bad post-Pump run, if we do say so ourselves! Then there's Laura-Leigh, the Juilliard grad who worked as a server at Sur during the first season...

Watch our video interview with the Sir of Sur for the scoop on his sexy times with Kristen and his not-so-sketchy Miami past!
Jax Taylor has done his fair share of lying during the past two seasons of Vanderpump Rules – remember when he “didn’t” bang that girl in Vegas? — but in a new interview, he tells HollywoodLife.com that there’s one thing he’s not lying about: sleeping with Kristen Doute. Twice!
“She did recently say, again, that [we had sex twice],” Jax tells us. “Kristen and I have recently started talking again — not like, friends, talking.”
(To be fair, it’s a rough situation.)
Why Did Jax Taylor Change His Name?
Jax’s past is also a top of discussion, following Tom Sandoval‘s accusation that Jax changed his name to cover up his shady Miami past. As Jax explains, he only stopped going by Jason because there were already too...

Plus, is someone getting fired from Sur? Forget food; these kids are serving up madness this season!
Remember when Stassi and Scheana finally buried the hatchet on Vanderpump Rules last season? Well, the sassy servers were back at each other’s throats within the first five minutes of the Nov. 4 season premiere — Scheana’s annoyed that no one reached out to her during her oral surgery, as her mouth is “literally everything” to her — and I don’t foresee their claws retracting anytime soon.
To add to the weirdness, Scheana planned a joint birthday party with Pandora, aka Lisa‘s daughter, aka Stassi’s (former?) best friend; and the evening was, predictably, a disaster. Basically, Katie – who now has blonde hair that everyone hates — told the birthday girl to “shut the f**k up” and was promptly ejected. This led to an awkward fist fight (and, of course, tears) between...

Watch my interview with Stassi for an update on her relationships with Jax, Scheana & more. Plus, is an old enemy returning to Sur in season two?
Vanderpump Rules fans, the wait is finally over! Bravo’s hit series returns Nov. 4 at 9 p.m., ushering in a second season of bar brawls and tear-soaked birthday parties. The crew’s queen bee — better known as Swedish princess Stassi Schroeder – recently paid a visit to HollywoodLife.com to help prepare us for the drama ahead, including the status of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor. (Spoiler alert: Things haven’t gotten much better since I gave them couples counseling.)
I also couldn’t resist asking about my personal favorite guilty pleasure from last season, Ms. Laura-Leigh, and Stassi was just as thrilled as you’d expect her to be. (Side note: This interview was conducted before Lifetime canceled The Client List. So sad.

Film: "We're The Millers"; Cast: Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Ed Helms, Emma Roberts, Will Poulter, Laura-Leigh, Molly C. Quinn; Director: Rawson Marshall Thurber; Rating: *** - Above average, worthwhile adult road-comedy.
It's a story of a group of losers who pose as a happy family in order to make their lives bearable. They look like a delightful family to everyone they meet, but in reality they are just the opposite -- obnoxious, foul mouthed crude beings.
The narration begins nonchalantly capturing the life of David Clark (Jason Sudeikis), a small time drug dealer. In his bid to be helpful to latchkey.

Jennifer Aniston played a spoiled daddy's girl for the better part of a decade on "Friends."Now 44, the actress has definitely shed all her inhibitions -- and her clothes -- in the new comedy "We're The Millers."In the film, which opens today, Jen plays Rose, a stripper who's fallen on hard times after a breakup. Her drug-dealing neighbor David (Jason Sudeikis) offers her a role in his get-rich-quick scheme: playing his wife in a ruse to smuggle pot across the Mexican border.Of course, things don't go as planned and Rose has to use her ... um, talents to save the fictional family. Check out Jen's moves in the trailer below:We think Jen looks pretty sexy, but apparently the critics have panned her moves (which leads us to ask just how do these critics know what genuine stripper moves look like). As for her skimpy clothes, Jen joked to Yahoo!

After a triple whammy of major disappointments with his last three movies, Escape From La, Vampires and Ghosts Of Mars, cult director John Carpenter has spent the last decade well and truly out of the limelight. As a result of this extended sojourn expectations for his latest project were obviously high with many questioning had the once great director of true cinema classics such as Halloween, Escape From New York and The Thing lost his edge? A step in the right direction was the casting of scream queen of the moment Amber Heard as his leading lady for his latest film The Ward, released on Blu-ray and DVD today, but is this the return to form that everyone was hoping for?

HollywoodNews.com: There is nothing particularly wrong with The Ward, there is just little about it to stand out amongst the sea of similar genre entries, to say nothing of the whole slew of direct-to-dvd films that fill the shelves of Blockbuster and the queue of Netflix any given day. That this film was given a token theatrical release just last month is only because it happens to be helmed by one of the more respected horror filmmakers of the 1970s and 1980s. But the era of John Carpenter is long over. While I can tell you that the film looks more polished and more overtly cinematic that it likely would have if directed by someone less esteemed, the picture remains a relative non-entity. It’s not bad so much as it’s not very good in any notable way.

John Carpenter fans have had a long wait between films from their favorite genre man. The director of cult favorites like "Halloween," "Escape From La" and "The Thing" has been on a hiatus of sorts but finally returns to multiplexes after a 10-year absence with this week's "The Ward."

I’ve been contemplating this review for the last week since seeing the film. I’ve been attempting to piece together the words that can fully describe the way I feel about this film. When I was seeing it with a full theater and then reacting to it every day for roughly a week and a half now. And I’ve gone from happy to angry to sad to ultimately let down, as if I hadn’t seen a girl I was once in love with for over a decade, trying to rekindle the flame of passion and the whole date kind of ending in an awkward embrace. We both go in for a kiss but miss each other’s lips completely.
The Ward is set in the 1960′s at a psychiatric hospital, particularly in ‘the Ward’ section of the hospital, where the most dangerous of offenders are put to be treated.

Are you a big fan of Halloween and The Thing? How about John Carpenter, for that matter? In honor of the release of his latest, The Ward, Carpenter will hold a Q&A session live on Twitter tomorrow, July 8th, via @ARC_Entertain. The event will go down from 2:00 to 3:30pm Pst and will feature tweet replies as well as some video messages. Carpenter’s The Ward focuses on Kristen (Amber Heard), a young woman thrown into a mental institution. There she meets the other residents, Emily, Sarah, Zoey and Iris (Mamie Gummer, Danielle Panabaker, Laura-Leigh and Lyndsy Fonseca), some of whom have hopes to get out while, deep down, others know...

John Carpenter, lovingly referred to by horror buffs as The Prince of Darkness, has written and directed some of the most iconic sci-fi/horror films of all time, including my personal own faves "Halloween" (1978) and "The Thing" (1982).
Carpenter’s new film "The Ward" -- his first in over a decade, since 2000's "Ghosts of Mars" -- is a delicious psychological slasher flick with creepy Gothic horror elements (they shot in a real late-1800s asylum) and a disturbing Jared Harris, son of the late Richard Harris, as the suspiciously circumspect head psychologist.
The protagonists are four attractive (surprise!) young female inmates (Amber Heard, Mamie Gummer, Danielle Panabaker and Laura-Leigh) who are unrelentingly subjected to terrifying bumps and jumps in the night. Think "Shutter Island" meets "Sucker Punch."
Given Carpenter’s lifelong horror bent, we asked for a list of his favorite horror films. Not surprisingly, they are all classic movies...

It.s been about ten years, but director John Carpenter is finally back behind the lens of a feature film and we.ve got Showtime.s Masters of Horror to thank. With dozens of titles to his name, Carpenter felt the need to take a step back from directing. However, when Masters of Horror summoned him to helm yet again, the experience reinvigorated the passion that, well, has terrified us all for years. Carpenter makes his return with The Ward, a story from Michael and Shawn Rasmussen about Kristen (Amber Heard), about a young woman thrown into a psychiatric hospital. There, she not only meets the other patients, Emily, Sarah, Zoey and Iris (Mamie Gummer, Danielle Panabaker, Laura-Leigh and Lyndsy Fonseca), but the ward.s resident evil entity, too. After so many years, you.d think Carpenter would have this down to a science. While he does to a point,...

Young woman placed in a mental ward must contend with having to deal with a vengeful ghost that is murdering off the other patients.
Disappointing return to the horror genre for director John Carpenter. The Ward is bland and uninspired. It plays out like a modest budgeted variation on Shutter Island, but without the suspense, visual sophistication or top notch cast that helped in part to make Shutter Island a memorable film experience. The Ward spins a story that involves elements of mystery, but the answers to that mystery are all too obvious The final twist, the big reveal at the end isn't even all that surprising. So what other reasons are there to watch The Ward?...

Somewhere in the bowels of North Bend Psychiatric Hopsital lurks a monster. It might be a ghost. It could be someone pretending to be a ghost. Or it might be a red herring meant to disguise one of the most ridiculous plot twists in the horror movie handbook. Whatever it is, that monster is haunting "John Carpenter's The Ward," the first theatrical horror film from the one of the genre's unquestioned in a decade. It is not one of his finest pieces of work.
Amber Heard stars as Kristen, the newest resident of North Bend's restricted ward. The rest of the girls -- Emily (Mamie Gummer), Sarah (Danielle Panabaker), Laura-Leigh (Zoey), and Iris (Lyndsy Fonseca) -- don't like her. The doctor ("Mad Men"'s Jared Harris) is creepy. And, oh yeah, at night or when the lights go out, Kristen sees a terrifying ghost girl, wandering the halls, stealing her blankets,...

Either something is wrong, or the people behind XLrator Media are doing a horrid job of promoting their big acquisition, John Carpenter's The Ward, which is listed as being released on April 15. While we attempt to firm up this date, inside you'll find a trio of clips (unfortunately in Italian), ones of which features Amber Heard showering. My only thoughts were, "Turn around, Turn Around!" Earlier in the week we brought you that tease for John Carpenter's latest horror movie, The Ward, and now a full trailer and new poster has been released.
Synopsis:
When an old farmhouse is set ablaze by Kristen (Amber Heard), a distraught young woman, she is taken by police to the North Bend Psychiatric Hospital. She awakens in a special ward with four similarly unbalanced and wayward girls: Sarah, a flirty and sass-talking know it all; Iris, a sensitive and talented artist who tries to make her feel welcome; Emily, a reckless but playful outcast; and Zoey, who hides behind a childlike persona and her beloved stuffed bunny.
Kirsten's therapist, Dr. Stringer (Jared Harris), tries to uncover the root cause of her breakdown, but despite his calm and understanding manner, she resists any attempts at help and rehabilitation. Unfortunately, the hospital is not the sanctuary it seems to be.

Now that the holidays are finally over, good news has finally crept back into our lives. The first intriguing story is the occurrence of the partial UK trailer for John Carpenter's long awaited comeback, The Ward. The partial trailer is brief at 50 seconds, but we still get our first look into a world of creepy psychiatric hospitals, patients who still look hot, and sinister children singing in the background.
Take a look at The Ward's offical snyopsis and check out the partial trailer.

The first teaser trailer for John Carpenter's (They Live) The Ward is here! In this short one minute clip actress Amber Heard (And Soon the Darkness) can be seen playing Kristen, a trouble young woman. After setting a farmhouse ablaze, she is housed in the North Bend Psychiatric Hospital for care. But here, she only finds ghosts and more tormented souls.
This film also stars Danielle Panabaker (The Crazies) and, unfortunately for North American horror fans, the United Kingdom will host filmings of this production first (January 21, 2011). This film has been pushed back from one release already (September, 2010), but here is one vote for a soon to be upcoming release. Check out the film's teaser inside courtesy of Upcoming Horror Movies.
The film's official plotline is here:

In just a few day's time legendary director John Carpenter will be returning to the big screen for the first time in nearly a decade when his new film, The Ward, screens as part of the Midnight Madness program at the Toronto International Film Festival. I recently had the chance to have a brief conversation with Carpenter in which he addresses his latest work, an old classic and Canada's recreational options.
TB: So, thank you for taking the time.
Jc: No, thank you. Where are you located?
TB: I'm in Toronto, actually, where we are looking forward to welcoming you soon. And I hope the city is good to you.
Jc: Well, thank you. I'm hoping I can come. I have one thing that may keep me from being there, which is jury duty, but if I don't get called I will be there.
TB: I suppose the place to start,...

The winner of ABC's reality show, True Beauty, was announced tonight. Unfortunately, the show's ratings have been anything but beautiful. Will there be a second year?
True Beauty comes from executive producers Tyra Banks (America's Next Top Model) and Ashton Kutcher (Punk'd). In the show, ten gorgeous contestants live together in a house in Los Angeles and take part in weekly modeling challenges. The players believe that they're being judged on their looks but in fact their inner beauty is being secretly tested as well.
The attractive contestants are Julia Anderson, Chelsea Bush, Billy Jeffrey, Laura-Leigh, C.J. Miller, Ashley Michaelson, Joel Rush, Hadiyyah-lah Sa'id, Monique Santiago, and Ray Seitz. Judging them are host Vanessa Minnillo, model Cheryl Tiegs, and fashion expert Nol Marin.
The TV show debuted on January 5th to 7.6 million viewers and a 3.2/8 rating/share of the 18-49 demographic. That put Beauty in second place for its...
