After a few months in limbo, the folks at “Sesame Street” have a new streaming platform to call home.

Netflix announced on Monday it has snagged the worldwide streaming distribution rights to the popular children’s educational program, which will move from its current home at Max (soon to be renamed HBO Max) after parent company Warner Bros Discovery (Wbd) opted not to renew the rights to the show.

As part of the deal, Netflix will stream new episodes of Sesame Street and make the show’s back catalog available on its streaming platform in the U.

Once again, President Trump has decided to stand with racism and align himself with America’s racist history. The private tribute — held at the Curran Theatre — drew hundreds of guests and included music and video tributes as well as emotional speeches from Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bonnie Hunt, Eric Idle, Admiral Mike Mullen, Williams’ three children, Cody, Zelda and Zak and his wife, Susan. President Barack Obama had long planned to be in Falls Church, Virginia today, to thank say farewell to outgoing Joint Chief of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, but his appearance went from a standard ceremonial one to that of a newsworthy foreign affairs moment. After welcoming other dignitaries in attendance, Obama opened with comments on the recent killing of U.S. born al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki.

Director refutes claims Obama administration granted access to details of Bin Laden raid in effort to boost re-election prospects

The Oscar-winning film-maker Kathryn Bigelow has denied claims she was given access to classified details about the killing of Osama Bin Laden in the hope that her forthcoming movie on the subject would paint Barack Obama in a positive light ahead of the Us presidential election next year.

Republican congressman Peter King accused Obama of jeopardising Us national security following suggestions in a New York Times article on Sunday that Bigelow and her team had been given "top-level access to the most classified mission in history" during their research for Kill Bin Laden, which is due to arrive in cinemas less than a month before the November 2012 poll. King, chairman of the house committee on homeland security, wrote to the Us defence department and the CIA to express concern that classified material might have been leaked.

Admiral Mike Mullen will wrap up his four-year appointment as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff by leading a star-studded, eclectic group of celebrities on his final Uso entertainment tour overseas this summer.

Admiral Mullen will be joined by “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart, Hall of Fame forward Karl Malone and illusionist David Blaine as they entertain deployed servicemen and women on a three-country, six-day tour. (Locations and dates of the tour stops remain unannounced for security reasons.)

President Barack Obama has nominated Gen. Martin Dempsey as the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. If confirmed by the U.S. Senate, Gen. Dempsey, who commanded troops in the Iraq war, would replace Admiral Mike Mullen, who is stepping down October 1. In a ceremony in the Rose Garden, President Obama called Dempsey "respected and combat-tested." The president also announced Gen. Ray Odierno to succeed Dempsey, who currently serves as Army chief of staff.
