The first official trailer for the crime drama ‘Texas Killing Fields’ with Sam Worthington and Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been released. Due in theaters on October 7th 2011, the movie comes from director Ami Canaan Mann (Friday Night Lights), and writer Don Ferrarone, who looks to be making his debut as a screen writer. Texas Killing Fields Trailer. Ami Canaan Mann‘s Texas Killing Fields (2011) movie trailer stars Sam Worthington, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chloe Moretz, Jessica Chastain, and Stephen Graham. Texas Killing Fields’ plot synopsis: “Texas Killing Fields follows a homicide detective in a small Texan town and his partner, a transplanted cop from NYC, as they track a serial killer dumping his victims’ mutilated bodies in a nearby marsh locals call ‘The Killing Fields’”.

I pieced together from this trailer *spoiler begins* that Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character uses Chloe Moretz’s character off-the-books as bait for the serial killer and the serial killer takes it (her) *spoiler ends*. That is just conjecture on my part but from this movie trailer I think that is what happens. This film could be good, certainly better than languid Small Town Murder Songs.

Filmmaker Michael Pavone directs Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, and Chase Ellison in the WWE produced coming-of-age dramedy That's What I Am. The story finds an English teacher (Ed Harris) pairing up 12-year-old Andy Nichol (Chase Ellison), who is just starting to date girls for the first time, with social outcast Stanley (Alexander Walters) for a critical school project. This unfortunate partnership threatens to derail Andy's plans to become one of the popular kids at his school.
