Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in La La Land (2016)
How Two German Comedians Pranked an Awards Show With a Fake Ryan Gosling
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in La La Land (2016)
In the latest award season mishap for La La Land, a German awards show, on live TV, gave a trophy to a Ryan Gosling impersonator.

The Goldene Kamera awards, one of Germany's most prestigious award galas, thought they had the Oscar-nominated star on hand to accept the prize for best international film on behalf of La La Land.

Instead, they gave the prize to Ludwig Lehner, a Ryan Gosling double.

The mixup was all an elaborate prank orchestrated by German comedians Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, who fooled the Goldene Kamera organizers into inviting the fake Gosling.

Lehner, who works...

Fake Ryan Gosling Stuns German Awards Show While Accepting Prize for La La Land
Ryan Gosling at an event for Lost River (2014)
Warning: There is a fake Ryan Gosling on the loose in Germany.

The imposter was spotted at the German film awards show Goldene Kamera — or Golden Camera, in English — on Saturday, where he boldly accepted an award for La La Land on behalf of the real actor, who not in attendance.

In a clip from the event, the host is heard announcing to the audience, “Here is the one and only Ryan Gosling.” But instead of the La La Land star, a lackluster substitute walked out on stage, much to the surprise of the star-studded audience, which included Nicole Kidman,...

Newswire: Fake Ryan Gosling crashes German movie awards, garners fake laughter
Offering a harrowing glimpse of an alternate reality where Hitler won WWII, a man who resembled a sloppy, third-generation clone of Ryan Gosling accepted a Goldene Kamera in Germany, where La La Land is still receiving awards and generating live television gaffes in an endless dystopian loop. The ceremony—famed for awarding American A-listers just for showing up, which explains the presence of Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell, and Jane Fonda—had this integrity embarrassingly compromised by pranking comedy duo Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, who reportedly hired a cook from Munich to pretend to be Gosling, solely to hear the delightful sound of awkwardly forced German laughter.

After being nervously introduced by host Steven Gaetjen as “the one and only Ryan Gosling,” the impersonator—who does look a bit like Ryan Gosling, if the full, combined mass of him and David Arquette were stuffed into the same body—swanned onto...

Ryan Gosling Impersonator Baffles Star-Studded Audience When He Accepts Award on Actor's Behalf
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in La La Land (2016)
Just over a week after the awkward Oscars flub, some celebrities had to sit through another cringe-worthy moment at Germany's Goldene Kamera awards.

The star-studded audience was visibly puzzled when host Steven Gaetjen announced that La La Land star Ryan Gosling, who he referred to as "one of the hottest stars in Hollywood," would be accepting an award on the film's behalf. However, instead of the 36-year-old actor appearing at the ceremony, another man in a tuxedo took the stage, pretending to be Gosling.

Exclusive: La La Land Producer Jordan Horowitz Reacts to 'Shocking' Best Picture Flub

"Good evening, I am Ryan Gosling," the impersonator said. "I dedicate this award to Joko and Klaas, thank you very much. There is a saying in Hamburg, which is, 'bye, bye!'"

According to Daily Mail, the bizarre moment was staged by comedians Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, who reportedly had set up a fake agency and assured...

Bowler caps, bow ties, corsets, crystals, "boobie thingies" — no, these are not the remnants of last weekend's Halloween rave but rather the accoutrements returning host Katy Perry flounced around in at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards. Together with the theme "Katy Kat Club," the Sally Bowles-inspired garb was only appropriate as the 16th annual EMAs returned to its inaugural location of Berlin, just days before the 20th anniversary of when the Berlin wall came tumbling down.

Jay-z, Beyoncé, U2, Tokio Hotel, Leona Lewis, David Hasselhoff, Juliette Lewis, Shakira, the Jonas Brothers and Tokio Hotel were just some of the stars that turned up on the red carpet to commence the largest awards show in MTV Europe's history. A staggering 17,000 audience...

Stars wear their finest for show's red carpet.

If silver rocked the Vma red carpet, then black definitely ruled the MTV Europe Music Awards red carpet on Thursday (November 5). A galaxy of stars rocked the red carpet of the show, which was held in Berlin to honor the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The night's host, Katy Perry, may have donned a white gown on the red carpet, but it was the lacy black detailing that gave it that vintage Perry charm. Green Day went more formal than punk for the red carpet in their slim-fit suits, all of which were in shades of black or dark gray.

Pete Wentz also wore a black suit to the show, and he embellished his with a newsboy cap.
