Titan Books Announces Two New Conan The Barbarian Stories & The First-Ever Solomon Kane Novel

Exlcusive: Conan the Barbarian and Solomon Kane will be featured in upcoming novels from Titan Books, and ScreenRant has a first look at what’s to come. Created by Robert E. Howard, Conan the Barbarian and Solomon Kane first debuted nearly a century ago, with Kane first appearing in a pulp magazine in 1928 and Conan the Barbarian showing up a few years later in the 1930s. Both characters have had stories told through comics and films for decades, with Titan taking over comic and book publishing in 2023.

A Cosmology of Monsters: Shaun Hamill novel is getting a TV series adaptation

Saloon Media, the production company behind such TV projects as Cold Valley, Witches of Salem, Web of Darkness, Encounter: UFO, and Hotel Paranormal (hosted by Dan Aykroyd), has announced that they have acquired the rights to author Shaun Hamill’s debut horror novel A Cosmology of Monsters, which was first published in 2019. The company is working with executive producer Caitlin D. Fryers to turn A Cosmology of Monsters into an ongoing one-hour TV series, with the first season to consist of eight episodes.

Fryers previously worked on the shows Wynonna Earp, Endlings, and Private Eyes. She is developing A Cosmology of Monsters with Saloon’s SVP of Scripted Content, Melissa Williamson. Hamill and Saloon’s Michael Kot are executive producing the show with Fryers.

‘A Cosmology of Monsters’ – Shaun Hamill’s Must-Read Novel Being Turned into a Television Series

Shaun Hamill’s excellent debut novel A Cosmology of Monsters is getting a small screen adaptation, with Deadline reporting today that the series will be an “elevated family drama.”

From Saloon Media, “the book will be adapted into an eight-part series.”

A Cosmology of Monsters follows the Turner family, who operate an immersive haunted house experience but begin to realize real monsters are at their door.

Caitlin D. Fryers is creator and executive producer and will work with Saloon’s SVP, Scripted Content, Melissa Williamson, on development.

Blue Ant Media-owned Saloon’s Michael Kot and Hamill will also Executive Produce.

The book was published in 2019. It’s a heartbreaking fantasy-horror tale of a family torn apart by very real threats we can all relate to, with an ambitious supernatural backdrop.
