I Melt with You was released December 9th, 2011 and stars Thomas Jane, Jeremy Piven, Rob Lowe, Christian McKay, Carla Gugino, Tom Bower, Arielle Kebbel, Zander Eckhouse. The film is directed by Mark Pellington.

Richard (Thomas Jane), Ron (Jeremy Piven), Jonathan (Rob Lowe) and Tim (Christian McKay) are old college friends that gather annually for a week in Big Sur to celebrate their friendship and catch-up on each other's lives. They seem like typical men in their forties, all with careers, families, and enormous responsibilities. But like most people there is a lot more beneath the surface.

As the week progresses, they go down the rabbit hole of excess as mountains of drugs are consumed to a blaring rock 'n' roll soundtrack. Parties with much younger women spin out of control. Exhausted and run ragged, they bare their souls to one another revealing the disillusionment with their lives. I Melt with You comes to theaters in 2011 and stars Jeremy Piven, Thomas Jane, Rob Lowe, Sasha Grey, Zander Eckhouse, Abhi Sinha, Arielle Kebbel. The film is directed by Mark Pellington.

There weren't big ratings for ABC Family's Huge series so the cable channel has cancelled it after just 10 episodes.

Huge follows a group of seven teenagers who are sent to weight-loss camp with diverse results. The cast includes Nikki Blonsky, Hayley Hasselhoff, Raven Goodwin, Ari Stidham, Ashley Holliday, Harvey Guillen, Stefan Van Ray, Jacob Wysocki, Molly Tarlov, Gina Torres, Zander Eckhouse, Zoe Jarman, and Paul Dooley.

The show debuted to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic last June with 2.53 million viewers. ABC Family bragged that it was their biggest series launch to date among women 18-49 and second largest in adults 18-49 and women 18-34.

  Unfortunately, the numbers started to fall in week two and slowly kept dropping off. By week eight, Huge hit a series low with a 0.5 rating in the demo and 1.34 million...

Turns out that being the son of a 90210 star doesn't necessarily mean you believe acting is your calling -- just ask Zander Eckhouse (the son of Walsh paterfamilias James Eckhouse), who only recently discovered he loved the work. Ahead of his ABC Family series Huge's first season finale, Eckhouse talked to Movieline about his studly "fat camp" counselor George, working with Jeremy Piven on a new movie, and the incredible statue he helped David Hasselhoff put in his study.

"[Amber] came to camp to lose weight and I think now she realises she got off-track because she focused all her time and energy on this boy that she shouldn't really be with," Hasselhoff told TV Guide. "Her whole fling with George brings her to a place where she figures out a whole different side to herself. She was secretive and a little insecure about it, but now she knows she needs to be true to herself and not let him dictate her life." I'm not sure if there have been cross overs from porn to mainstream cinema, but it appears that for one actress in particular, working in both worlds might be a valid option. ABC Family is rapidly becoming the home of some of our favorite shows. "Pretty Little Liars" is the hottest thing we've seen all summer, and "Huge," about teenagers at a weight-loss camp, debuts tonight, June 27. We've already checked out the premiere, and this is one you won't want to miss.

The star of the show, Nikki Blonsky -- yes, the lucky girl who got to hook up with Zac Efron in "Hairspray" -- stopped by the Ktla News Desk on June 24 to talk about her character. Zap2it caught up with her in the green room after her appearance.

ABC Family's summer is getting a little crowded with original programming.

The cable network will kick off its third season of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" on Monday, June 7 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt and the second season of "Make It or Break It" on Monday, June 28 at 10 p.m.

As far as new series, we'll see "Pretty Little Liars," "Huge" and "Melissa & Joey" make their debuts as well. On the original movies side, the network will bring "Revenge of the Bridesmaids" and "Wild Child."
