Ken Appledorn is an actor, presenter, radio host, and comedian. A graduate of the University of Michigan with degrees in Business Administration and Mathematics, Ken made a bold decision to leave his profession behind and move to the city of Sevilla, Spain to learn the local language and culture, which inspired him to explore his creative side.
Ken's acting journey took off with his roles series Malviviendo and El Viaje de Peter McDowell, both directed by the talented David Sainz. He was given the Best Actor award at the esteemed Malaga Film Festival for the independent film "Casting," and he has been nominated twice for Best Andalusian Actor for his roles in "The Extraordinary Tale" and "Con Los Años Que Nos Quedan." He has also been working for the past 15 years onstage alongside Spain's top comedic duo ¨Los Morancos¨ both as a writer and comedian.
Today, Ken continues to shine in the entertainment industry, working on exciting projects for major platforms like HBO, Netflix, Amazon, BBC, Apple TV, and Movistar+.
Every Tuesday, (as his schedule permits) listeners can also tune in to Canal Sur radio to catch Ken's engaging voice as one of the hosts of "Las Mañanas de Andalucía," where he brings warmth and wit to the airwaves.
