An actor whose credits include “The Young and the Restless” has been convicted of child molestation, the Cherokee County, Georgia, district attorney told TheWrap on Friday.

According to the district attorney’s office, Corey Sligh is facing a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum sentence of 20 years after being convicted on one count of child molestation.

Sligh’s sentencing has not yet been scheduled, though the district attorney said that a sentencing hearing is expected to occur next month.

Sligh was arrested on Oct. 14, 2016, and charged with child molestation, Lt. Jay Baker of the Cherokee County sheriff’s office told TheWrap shortly after his arrest.

According to Baker, the female victim was younger than 10 years old at the time of the alleged incident.

The actor knew the alleged victim, Baker added.
